Make sure you keep the receipts for everything just in case you ever have an accident and they're damaged...that way you have proof of how much you spent and hopefully you would be able to get the money back.

I would definitely consider them if I were you. They are by far the best mod I've done, and that's even considering all the bad luck I've had

since the capsule is glass, you can actually scrape the melted residu off with a razor blade and clean with alcohol. some people get by with scraping the ceramic coating off D2R bulbs to fit them into D2S projectors so you can easily clean off this bulb.

You might want to let it dangle from somewhere 9attached to the igniter)that won't be touching anything and let it "burn off" any junk for a few minutes. Wipe down with alcohol and let it dry for a couple minutes before initially turning it on.

Yeah, when I was scraping the stuff off, I took the knife over it for a good 15 minutes even after all the "visible" stuff was gone and the surface seems completely cleared off to me. I'll still use the alcohol and let it burn for awhile, too, though.

Well...one problem fixed, another created. Got the passenger's side bulb all cleaned off and working, thought my troubles were over. Now the driver's side light is out! w00t!
Here's the issue...SOMETHING is messed up with the ground wiring on that side. I set the metal casing of the ballast on the negative terminal of the battery and voila...it works. Can anyone reccomend me a temporary solution to grounding that ballast directly to the negative terminal until I can get the wiring taken care of?
