Lol I love how that makes it our fault. This is just another case of somebody who modifies their car for the approval of others and not personal enjoyment.
God yall are emotional.
The black/chrome should look good none-the-less.

Sure it'd be original, it'd just look strange, out of place, and subsequently bad.

Mate ... I say it's all in the eye of the beholder! If that aint so, then there is a lot wrong with my rettro too. I don't really mind if people nit pick at my shourds (I used baking tins, from WM, disposable) and I say ... to he!! with everyone that wants to make fun of em. I don't really care. I have yet to see another Max in Springfield Missouri with HIDs on a 4th gen'r and anybody that says anything to me about mine I just tell them I did the best "I" could do. Usually ... people will only comment in one of two ways about my HIDs, 1. You rat bastarrd with your blinding blue lights! and 2. Nice job, never seen lights like that on a Maxima before, you do it yourself?

Doesn't matter who does the work really. And I agree, Heresemymind does do some nice work! Point is .... it's what "you" like and if you don't want people rantting about your set-up, do not post about it. But ... we all like feedback and to show off our stuff, casue to us, it's cool - right? Not everyone is gonna like everyone elses set-up and so on. I really like some of the rides on here, and some I think to myself ... is this mate thinking? lol

Anyway ... not a bad fit regardless of the shroud.

Cheers!

agreed, nice r34 retro, do you have any more details/specs and some pictures? I would really like some input into doing the r34 retro by either heresmymind or maxgtr.

Thanks

r34s are lookin kinda nice.

as far as this thread goes. i actually wanted to see the grafitti idea make it, sounded cool if you pulled it off. my whole thing was the mounting of the projector and the shape of the shroud, which WAS stated to be 95% done in the op. as long as you like what goes on your car.
