Honk! Honk!

Just installed two FIAMM "Freeway Blasters."
They scared me when I first hit the steering wheel.
I suggest testing these outside the garage...THESE ARE LOUD!!
Highly recommended. Installed in an hour.

Pepboys.
Around $12 ea.
The one behind the grill was a little tough, but didn't take that long. Undo top of support brace behind the grill, and swing it out of the way...you'll never get the new horn in there without doing this.

Any rewiring or did you splice the connections. Any ooglie type part to the installation? The stock horn is as weak as the one on my bike. I wonder if I could get it to fit my bike too? Hmmmmm

No wiring..just un-plug the old one, and plug in the new one.

A word of advice... Make sure when you install the front horn, in the grll, with the opening facing down. B/C water will get into it and cause it to sound weired..

what do these things sound like?? Do they sound like air horns or is it just a really loud "stock sounding" horn?

I ran by Pep Boys on my lunch break and they had the "Freeway Blaster" for $15.99 a piece.

BTW are these the ones that resemble some sort of sea shell or a turbo(slightly)

Thats good to know. The Maxima needs a better sounding horn than one that sounds like a 2 door Spec.
