blacken sidemarkers?

i remember reading somewhere here about someone who tinted their sidemarkers.. but did it in a way that the light still shines through... can someone tell me how to do this?

There is a 5th gen. Member that makes tinted sidemarkers and sell them he can even add words/fonts etc... I can't think of his name but I am sure he will reply soon.

The guy that can tint the side markers for you name is chinaonnitrous1 PM him as far as pics go over to freshalloy.com and search for the stillen 2002 Maxima they have high quality pics of a Black Maxima with tinted side markers.

That's what I want to do to mine. I got this polycarbenate paint from one of my R/c car boxes and used to tint the windows on the bodies. It sticks to plastic and you can bend the plastic in any way and the paint won't chip off.

When tinting the sidemarkers, you'll almost have to use red and orange bulbs. The hyperwhite bulbs come out in a purpleish light, which was unacceptable for me. I ended up painting mine completely black and taking out the bulbs. I'll get some pics this afternoon.

i would rather just make my own if i could... no use in buying sidemarkers for $65 when i have my clears that i can just paint/tint.... what tint spray is good? and will the light shine through? i'm thinking about using red bulbs..
