So what do all of you think about putting a nitrous kit on the 2k max. I have been thinking about putting the zex kit on my car but before I do it, I was kindof wanting some feedback.

 

i've been thinking about putting some in...anywhere from a 75 shot to a 120 shot...then i read an article on venom and that made me kinda want to get that...it was talking about how it was very difficult for it to screw up your car because it is run by a computer and it monitors your valves to make sure nothing is going wrong etc.

 

If you are running an automatic, you should STRONGLY consider some transmission upgrades. I remember seeing a post where some guy with an automatic put in a stillen sc and killed the transmission after 3 days.

 

I've been considering a nitrous setup myself.

I've red the Zex is the easiest and cheapest, and is most likely to be the easiest install.

I read an article about the Venom system, and it somewhat monitors your engine so you don't damage it. Is this easy or possible with a Max? Not sure.

Of course, there is the NOS brand, which somebody in this forum has installed and gotten to work.

I have not heard of anybody installing the Zex or Venom systems on their 2K+ Maximum and having it work.

 

well there is one guy on here w/ nitrous express...the article on venom is in the newest version of the american max power (not the euro (good) version)...they have it installed on a vw bug

 

I saw the same article in the magazine about the Venom setup on the VW. I believe there was a test session with the Venom and a Honda over at superhonda.org.
