I don't know guys, the front of that car is not happining for me. The rear will work.
As far as camry interior being crap and cheap. My sister had a camry and my g/f has a camry that I drive often and I can tell U the camry is better put togather then the maxima. That car is rattle free, and the tranny and suspension is like water. Maybe b/c my Max is a SE but the ride is day and night b/w the maxima and camry. I also rented the maxima GXE and I can say the ride b/w a SE and GXE is like day and night but then again my car isn't stock anymore. But toyota has everyone beat down with build quality.

Darn it, I own both....a Toyota Sienna. what can I say, I am married with children!. The shot of the Camry does look nice and so does the new Altima...
There are 2 things I swore I would never buy... a minivan or a Toyota.

The tail lights remind me of the A4... the car's alright, probably need some getting use to (i.e. Maxima).

I heard the look recently described as Jelly Bean. Right on the money if you ask me.

Eric L. I know where your coming from. But you have to consider your prospective. You have a 4-gen built during a time when Nissan was in serious dire straits. I think if you were driving a 3-gen or 5-gen, your opinion might be different. Toyota has had the luxury of being able to keep their quality high thoughout the duration. But they do admit to cost cutting on their previous gen Camry also. Now, my VE and my bro's Vg maximas have zero rattles. I mean they are very solid in the interior. I even will say the 3-gen interiors are nicer becuase they feature more complex curves in the dash area. If you could take a look at my interior, it would rate about a 8 out of 10. But of course there is the usually carpet wear but that's about it. The dash is rattle free even though I completely took it out to redo the heator core.
