Y2Kevse said it's actually better for the transmission but thug is going to hurt the mount....

These guys are right about the stronger shifts, but it's way too strong for my tastes. When pulling out of the driveway and/or trying to go slow the shifts really get to you - not only do you feel it, but it makes a *thud*. 1-2 is quite abrupt, 2-3 is moderately so.
I also tried gunning it from a stop to highway speeds, i didn't like it. The shift is just *hard*. Not like 1-2 shifts on a manual hard... but car shaking/thud sounding hard.
Didn't get an SES light, but when i reattached the connector i had my AT light blink. Turned the engine off a sec, turned the ignition to ACC for a couple of seconds and started. AT light gone.

Ok for one the Drop Resistor mod is great. It will make your tranny last 4 times longer than leaving it plugged in. The reason for that Resistor is so you get a more soft and comfort shift. Our Transmission's are electronically controlled with shift solnoids. Now when you disconnect the resistor. You will get very harsh feeling going into first to second gear being that there is more line pressure. The reason, go right into gear, rather than slipping into gear. See its the slipping into gears that screws your tranny up, in the long run. Because slipping into gears will make your clutches in the tranny wear out quicker. You should also get a tranny cooler, which is about $40.00. This will keep the temp down in the tranny. Because if you increase the line pressure in your transmission, the fluid will get hot. Hot tranny fluid is bad. You can even wire a switch to your resistor. So you will only use it when you want. Yes it is proven to make my car 3 tenths quicker in the1/4 mile.

I unplugged it for the first time today. The shift from 1st to 2nd IS pretty stiff. The shift from Reverse to 1st is pretty healthy itself. It felt good when driving hard, but under normal driving it felt like I was running somebody over every time I went to 2nd. Need a switch to put where the steering wheel heater would be if I had one. I changed th color of my guage lights tonight, it's pretty cool. I'll take a pic and put it on .org when I get a chance.

Thanks.
I actually plugged it back in only 10 minutes after taking it off. I didn't like it at all - it may be good for the transmission, but i can only guess what bad thing it can do to the mounts to say the least.
Sorry i can't be of more help
