Replacing HID's with non-HIDs'
Hey all,
I just recently had my HID's stolen right in front of my apartment. I don't to get rid of the car so I think I am going to replace the lights with the 2001 non-HID lights. I just had a few questions...
What exactly do I need to order? Do I need to order just the lights? Is there a housing or bracket I need? Do I need any special wiring in order to use the older lights?
Also, I have read that there is a small gap between the 2001 lights and the 2003 bumper. Does anyone have any pics of this? Is it that bad? or just a minor annoyance? I would rather not replace the bumper.
Can anyone reccommend a good place to order the parts that I will need?
Can anyone recommend a body shop that has experience doing this in the NYC area? Specifically Brooklyn and Queens?
Thanks so much for anyone who can help!

Look at my sig. My bodyshop did it for me so I have no idea on the specifics. The gap is a minor annoyance and can be filled in with some simple weather rubber. That's what I have.
I can reccomend you a good bodyshop in Newark, it's called Motor City, phone number is (973) 344-0102. Ask for Mario or Manny.
