man, thats a real shame on Nissan for making the lights so easy to steal, and even MORE of a shame that people are stealing.

You got to hit this at all angles. I see some good ideas on camping the car and watching them (I would watch from my scope ), I also see some ideas on securing the lights, but what about finding out what everybody is DOING with these lights once they are stolen? These kids are probably stealing them for money, since they more than likely take more sets of headlights than they can find use for themselves.

Find out what cars make a good retrofit candidate or try to buy some blackmarket Maxima HID's. even check the trash for discarded housings if all they want is the ballast/bulbs.

Is there a serial number you can write down so maybe the headlights can be matched-up someday?

Has Nissan offered any device or bracket to prevent this from happening? They should have a recall and fix it!!!
