After more than 2 years with Maxspeeds, I am looking for something else. The ride is ok, but I would like to be lower and slightly smoother than what I have now. Riders in the back cause the rear of the Maxima to jump up and down over bumps. The Maxspeeds are starting to sag in the rear as well. You get what you pay for.

I like the look of the Tein H techs. Slightly lower than the Maxspeeds and better ride quality than the Tein S techs. It is also a higher quality progressive spring. Should last much longer than the Maxspeeds.

My ride is stock. Looking to lower my ride while keeping the stock ride quality. Any suggestions?

The ride is fine. The only problem I am having is a little rubbing at the rear due to the G35C stock sized tires (245/45-18). I will be changing the tires to 235/40-18 real soon.

I have the maxspeeds now, and also run the 350z 245/45-18's in the rear and never have had an issue with rubbing. maybe the offset of the wheel that is causing the rub on your car? the 235/40 is a little smaller than stock. the best size to run is the 245/40's if the rim will hold them...you should have an 8in rim for the 245's.

an afterthought...i have not seen anything on b&g springs...they are top of the line like eibach and h&r. every spring co i have spoken to references them, yet i don't know of anyone on the org with them...

I thought running the 245's would be too wide for the front of the car. The offset for the G35C rims is 30. I am now running the stock G35C 225's up front and they seem to be almost flush.

Good choice...

Do ya have pics of your Max with the 05 rims? Just curious to see how it'd look with that suspension set-up...

Not on yet, but just bought Tein-H and Tokico Blues. Can't wait!

Thanks Housecor for the excellent write-up on your site, it really helped with the decision.

I'm in the same boat, I love the look when then tire looks tucked under the fender, Like the BMWs but confort is an issue so I'm torn between the S teins or the progress

Hey SoonerMaxima...this is the setup I'm possibly looking into buying. Have you tried changing to a softer setting on the Illimina's ? How's the camber and tire wear??? Thanks in advance!

For those who have been running on Tien S and Illuminas for a while...on a 2k...

Can you tell me if the camber is bad and tire wear is uneven? I want this setup but not if its going to result in an uneven tire wear...

Thanks!

Stock springs, stock struts.

The roads here in Louisiana are HORRIBLE. They have ruined my rear springs - especially the right rear spring. I had to put spring blocks in the rear to keep the car from sagging long enough to research what spring/strut package to put on it.

I want to put a package on WITHOUT lowering the car... any ideas?

tokico and vogland springs

well it handles great like a race car but I was on the long island expressway and that is pretty rough and it got a little annoying.

I too am interesred in the ride with these Vogtland Springs as I am getting ready to purchase my new suspension and as of right now I am looking at Tokico HP Blues and either Maxspeeds or the Vogtland. I know not many Orger's have these from what I have seen but I am giving it serious thought. Any input is appreciated as usual.
