Was I fooled?

These are pictures of my car when I put in Super White Kryton H3 fogs. I know they were cheap and tinted blue but I wanted to see what they were like considering how cheap they were. They weren't excessively blue like some and were actually pretty bright. They almost make the Silverstars look stock...

Was I fooled by how blue they were instead of the quality of the bulb? If they are really brighter, then why don't I just spend $12 dollars and get H4s and H3s. I guess I should just experiment. I have a feeling they will all suck in inclement weather.

Plus, pictures don't really do justice to the silverstars, they are pretty bright.
