I might do a variation of that, looks better than just painting it a different color.

Be specific with the questions and dont write "......." because that doesn't explain anything.

now im noticing that the coilpack the dealer gave me is slightly larger than the stock ones.
is this because they are the greydots or did i the dealer accidentally give me the wrong ones.
again i have a 2k2 max.

I'm not sure about the coils being differant, but the fronts and rears may be differant part numbers due to their slight differance.

I'm no guru, so someone else will have to chime in, but I thionk it may be the coil packs. DaveB usually seels Nissan parts for a little less than the dealer so if this is the problem, then he's the one to PM.
IIRC when standing infront of the car with the hood open, and looking at the engine the layout is as follows.
(Firewall side)
/1-3-5 \ (Transmission side)
\2-4-6 /
(Bumper side)
I think I'm correct. If not I will edit my post.

hey, 49,000 miles isn't too late to swap out your gear oil is it? i just bought a 2002 6 speed with 49,000 on it and plan on switching the gear oil to amsoil GL-4.. but the previous owner is unsure if the gear oil was ever changed before (how do you not know that?) it's ok to make the switch right?

yeah true... i ran into another problem today... has anyone tried to put a 5th gen intake on a 5.5 gen 6 speed? the transmission mount is in the way, and i can't bolt it to the car where it needs to be.. stillen has some kind of spacer that you can use in that instance, bt the space is a good 1-2 inches between the support bracket and the hole it needs to be bolted to because of the tranny mount.. i don't have the spacer, but i think it's just a nut or something, which is nowhere near the size of the space that exists on my car.. what can i do?

yeah, see, on the 6MT theres a transmission mount fitted directly in between the support bracket and the the hole it's supposed to be bolted to.. on my old 4AT, there was no problem because the tranny mounts were in different places.. but i have no idea what to do about the space that the tranny mount has created bwtween the support bracket and the hole
