Ask Don aka Pearl96Max, the OP of that thread, or just look around the Audio and Electronics forum for old threads on that. I personally have no idea, I just happened to speak to Don last week and he mentioned the GD, which is why I thought of it when I saw your question.

It's best not to mix and match spring rates. Best thing is to have the same springs all around.

If you are afraid of rubbing do what nsrider suggested.

Also called "fender rolling" ...

http://tom.actionfit.com/fenderolling.html

Cheaper than buying different sets of springs, a shop should charge around $50 to get it done. Make sure they follow procedure and use a heat gun to avoid chipping paint.

If you want to do it the cheap way, there is the baseball bat method, but I would not recommend this.

noob question here...

I have my jwt popcharger bolted up the maf right now but I want to get a midpipe or what some people say, the upper intake tubing. Berk makes them I know. Can this work in conjunction with my popcharger?

yes...the midpipe connects to the MAF housing with a rubber coupler. if you have everything from the MAF housing forward, its easy to add the midpipe

this is my setup right now:

[IMG][/IMG]

pic is almost a year old and I promise the engine bay is MUCH cleaner now

but yea...Im ONLY doing this to get a cleaner look by getting rid of the accordian piece thats connected to the TB. Im pretty much aiming towards what your setup looks like except I'll have a popcharger.

Im also going to a hardware store to buy some aluminum. I'd like to make a nice heat shield box...may not be 100% effective but it should do more good than nothing

yup, that will work. you just need the midpipe and two couplers.

Oh, speaking of the clock. I saw one max with a blue clock and blue radio display on a stock head unit. How do I do this?

You'll need to plug 2 holes on there. The 02+ does not require an external IACV due to its Ethrottle, therefore, that port + another vacuum port is eliminated, and all that is left on the 02+ is the PCV port.

you dont need to plug the hole
get a saw and cut the piece right behind the t part at the end and you will have a perfect match. Did it on mine and it works PERFECTLY the only thing you have to get is a longer valve hose. 5 buck at PepBoys and they are a rip off.
here is a pic

this is what you need to do. take the door panel off after you roll the window down and look at the corners of the window in relation to the curve of the door. There is no way to get the window down any further. It sucks but what can we do

I never said to plug the PCV hole. I said that all you're left with is the PCV, which you NEED.

I personally would recommend leaving the stock resonator in, I've dyno tested it, and it9stock piece) gives the best power curve.

Most on here would say "if you care about your car, use premium as recommended"

Personally, after everything I have read on hear about people using regular, I wouldnt let anything but premium touch my gas tank.

has anyone here made lights to illuminate their floorboards? I know that places sell little 12" led bars that can get power through the cig lighter... so could i, in theory, mount those under the seats and wire them to a hot wire?

any insight?

if you put them under the seats they dont light as well
get two lights
put them under the dash on both sides and wire it to the cig lighter
cig lighter shuts off with the car
took 30 minutes to do my 2k max

Just need this post to ask a question in the audio sub forum...sorry for whoring 15 posts ftw!

well, i guess that didn't work. still says i cant post in the audio forum. Now that I have this problem it makes this a legitimate post. But what gives? It says i need 15 posts in the FAQ to post in there. Am I mistaken?
