Just done he install yesterday. Thanx everyone for the advice. I found that crossmember had to come off to make it easier, i had to grind this lower oil pan threaded pipe that would make contact right underneath engine.
Also on hard launches with wheel hop oem mid pipe bangs on oem REAR crossmember that is designed to support the exhaust in case it brakes off and chassis stiffening. I will probably weld a hanger to cut down on vibration and add support.
Had to extend the primaries, plugged one bung b1s1 and used secondary hole. B1s2 i tied it up to a coolant metal pipe with a rad hose clamp. Bank 2 i plugged both sensors in since it was possible and i will wire in an o2 sim sometime soon. No mil light in 2 days...
I also had to grind down the cross member and rear engine mount a little. Not too bad though.
I took my time and the whole install took me almost a day at work with pro tools and hoist. I would not like to do this on driveway though especially by myself.
I also wanted to say that i had reused my stock manifold gaskets.
Power is there definitely love the butt dyno. Could be that my old cats were restricted. Front cat chiped away and got sucked in the engine. Rear cat was broaken off and ratteling. I am sure some of it got sucked in too.
These cats getting sucked in are known to blow the 3.5s and mine had lower compression on 2 cylinders. It burns little oil like all 3.5s but Nissan could have prevented this. I knew about this issue but i just put it away.
I believe i still have saved my motor as it has lots of power. I believe everyone with a 3.5 should do this mod....
