Good eye. I didn't notice it in person but when I looked at the pictures from that day I found out it wasn't hooked up.

Yeah they were just trying to get the car in somewhat showing condition. It was literally painted (home job) the night before the show. They finished at like 3am or something crazy like that. I think they repainted it but I'm not sure.

They trailered the car to the show and only "drove it" to park it in the parking space. They still had work to do but wanted it at the show

It's still not 100% done but it's running now. Not sure if the SC is working but I saw a video on his facebook.

It should be a beast once it's all said and done!

As far as the TB/IGN On, yep, I can see it moving via SAFCII throttle % and you can hear it, and when resetting the AT light, and when my TPS was being picky I had to always do that + the shift lock deal because at one point broken racecar.

Also, weird, but my throttle will open, and then close after I remove the key, you can hear it and just before the SACII goes to bed, the% shoots up, then dies and I hear the throttle close. It's been posted before but I still haven't figured out why it does that.

I think it mighthave started when I had my first incident of cleaning the TB or removing the IM or something that caused the high idle even after numerous IAVL/Pedal postion reset

I must have been one of the lucky ones because I've cleaned the TB 2x, and when I did my spacers and a few other things, I had the high idle BS for a week or so, and did a bunch of resets relearns and it finally just went away on its own, weird.

BTW, this is the sounds my coilovers are making. I think it's due to how low they are set. I say this because it was only happening when turning left. It also only happens when the wheel is turned to the max and going slow, creeping in 1st gear. Also I have to be going over a slight bump, like into a drive way.

I adjusted all 4 corners today since they had changed a tad bit, with the rears both not 1/4" higher than the fronts. I had to lower the front passenger to match to driver about a 1/4" and since doing that I noticed the same noise when i turned all the way to the right. That is why I say I think it has to do with being low.

Anyways..onto the video. It's still optimizing so bad quality for now. Should get better.

Again, the ONLY time this happens is going very slowly over a bump and when the wheel is maxed turned. If I don't max turn it it doesn't make a noise.

yeah I know it's loud, I get looks. Like I said, I can avoid it happening on the usual stuff but when I pull into my spot at home I have to turn that sharply 90% of the time. It's like really?

Just to clarify, there is not a single noise any other time that just this.

IIRC IAT has weird influence on timing. I glanced at some of my 'CAD' raw data & w/~75deg IAT the timing adv. went up to ~40deg@ ~2500RPM.

Thanks guys. My engine harness should be here tomorrow. Gonna plug everything up, hook it up to a power source, apply the proper grounds and see what happens. If I have a security light and the TB moves with the pedal, I'm good to go.

A Chevette? I haven't seen one of those turds on the road in a long time. I remember when I was a kid back in the early-mid 80's my dad had bought a used one. He didn't keep it very long cause my mom absolutely hated it.

It only happens w hen going over a bump, like the entrance of a driveway. It does not happen when turning on a flat road. And yes, fully locked.

Maybe I'll see if I can hit the top mounts with some air just to check that off the list. It really sounds like it's coming from the strut tower area but with it all connected I guess it could be coming from anywhere

Not to mention how easy the butterfly valve bends if pressed too hard.
