I would probably leave it alone, but I'd be curious to see some stripe work

I know,,,,,the way the side of the car is made..seems kind of hard to vision something there....Saw a single stripe just above the door handle run from to rear at the dealership....didn't do much for it tho....If I find something will let you know ..

I may be confused. I thought all the Maxima's came with pinstripes, or are you referring to some type of custom stripes? I have pin stripes on mine and I'll take a pic if you'd like to see it, but it's just the factory work.

Sleeper,,,,I think the stripe you have probably was put on at the dealership...Don't think they put them on at the factory...Yes I would love to see your stripe.. My car is white....and think it needs something....Sure would appreciate a picture of your car...thanks>!!!!

It will probably be a couple of days, I'm going to buy my wife an '03 Accord tonight and wont have time to take the pic, plus it's raining today. You're right, the stripe was put on by the dealership. I've never really been a big fan of pin stripes but this one actuall looks decent so I'm leaving it on the car. I bought the liquid silver and the stripe is a dark silver color so it not a really drastic color change, pretty nice actually. Anyway, I'll get you a pic in a couple days.

for some reason all new car buyers go crazy over pinstriping but then they almost always remove it after two years or so, heh, its expensive throught the dealer as well, i think you should leave it alone, the car looks much cleaner that way

TopCut,
I've got some bad news. I really had every intention of taking a pic of the pin stripes for you. However, yesterday I got my windows tinted and when I got home it was raining so I couldn't take the pic. Meanwhile my brother-in-law shows up and I began drinking beer. Well, one thing led to another and two beers later the pin striping was pulled off the car. I really wish I had taken a pic but no such luck. However, I will tell you this...I liked the pin stripe and thought it looked pretty good until I pulled it off. So, for what it's worth I like it much better without the stripe. Sorry again.

I'm calling BS. This sounds like a weed story, not a beer story.

Ok, i think I really need to take pics of mine this week... seriously, the '04 looks real sharp with the pinstripe... and I didn't pay a penny for it... any dealer will have it put on for you for free... just request one before you sign for the car...
