well, the car feels alot better for sure, power is there now.. as for price I dunno, that depends what people think is better for the money.

I don't think we have a mod that we can get 17hp and 10tq gain yet for the money of the ecu program, so is a deffinate upgrade, and it does improove all the mods you install with it.

is up to the buyer I guess, do you think those gains are worth it the money?

I'm down maybe 10 miles a tank, from about 370 to 360 miles on 16 gallons fill-up.

Keep in mind that I had mine mapped pretty agressively from lowend on. You can have the lowend mapped less aggressive or leaner to where under normal driving condition, 2-3k RPM, the MPG will be like stock; = less torque.

Im a bit confused as to all the mappings that have been done. Since this is a HUGE thread. Can we summarize the mappings. My ECU has 350z mapping. I forgot if its modified 350z.

Yeah I usually drive in the 2-3k range, even putting around town I keep it in 6th going 50mph. I would like the most aggressive management the injectors could do. Even if i can press on the gas a touch to prevent down shifting that in its self is fuel economic.

Worst comes to worst, do you know if they can save the stock ecu setup?

Thanks,

Kam

Yes, an update would be nice!

I have a 6 speed 2005 SE that could use a little extra power if the gas mileage didn't suffer much.

ha... did he just say gas mileage.... that's funny.... if you want gas mileage you should have bought a diesel vw or something of that nature.... you are only gonna squeeze 25mpg at the most out of this beast.... that's great considering.... I mean you could have a F150 or something..... wait they probably get the same mpg we do.... hmmmm I worst I have seen myself in this car is 13mpg..... that is serious mpg not the computer doing the adding it said 10mpg

Recap: TS is getting some new equipment later this month. With that they can work on 4AT and VDC models; and see if a little more torque can be squeezed out in the low end, but peak HP is pretty much tapped out. They are ready for 6MT and 5AT w/ no VDC.

They also have some for non-VQ35's, you would have to call them. Some are compatible with the Japanese models they have.

I'm averaging about 1 MPG less overall.

Man...I could'nt care less about gas mileage. I just want this car faster! Ive noticed the fuel needle will say half tank left when I start my trip, and after I get to my destination, it will be a quarter of a tank lower... but then raise back up to half a tank next time I start the car. Wierd.

Thanks for the update; is the $385 GP still applicable and what would you guesstimate for a time-1-2 months until they are ready?

The GP isn't from TS. Their price is $495. Tek is working w/ a shop near him for GP.

Thats because the VDC is not compatible with a 6sp.

VDC is only available on the 5sp.

Ok, I'm a bit confused... so, are you saying that they have an ECU ready for a 5SP auto without VDC? Is that with or without TCS (or does that matter)?

Thanks!

5AT and 5AT w/ TCS are available, as well as 6MT w/ TCS. For 4AT, 5AT w/ VDC, and 6MT w/o TCS are not available yet. 6MT w/o TCS is probably not compatible 6MT w/ TCS, but you can check with them.

You're going to roll to So Cal? You can just send your ECU in with your current AFR or dyno sheetw/ AFR. He send send it back to you next day.
