New here....picked it up in January.
Dark slate S, $379 for 39 months, 15k a year. Paid $2000 out of pocket, included first month payment, fees, everything. They also took my 07 Silverado lease, which was 18 months early =) I did a 4 year lease on the truck. I think I did ok, love the car !

$640/mo... Wtf???

Guys I have a question on a SV (just cold package and monitor package)

My current leasing agent is quoting $349/mo (36mo 12k pr year)

All I owe is bank fee, dmv fee and first month of course.

Is this a fair deal? Should I request the premium pack or will the payment shoot up?

I personally chose the non premium SV for the fold down split seats which the premium eliminates. I have already been in situations where the fold down seats were a savior. I also have the monitor package and cold package which is really all I need. You get some of the toys with that like the backup camera, hard drive, Ipod usb interface..etc. For the cost to upgrade to tech package, I could buy a new portable GPS every year for the next 20 years or more

Idk some leasing companies offer the sv premium tech for 400/month with only taxes and stuff due at signing, don't rush, keep looking, you can get the sv premium for 400 or maybe the sv sport for a lil less, keep shopping!!!!!!

Got the non-premium SV for the exact same reason. I doubted my decision at first when I got it 3 weeks ago. Then last weekend, went to wal-mart and got a 3-step stool and wouldn't fit in the trunk. Was VERY glad I could put the back seat down. Wish I got the monitor package though.

Thumbs up 2010 Black/Black SV

It took a week of negotiating, but picked up a 2010 Black SV Premium/Premium Tech with all the goodies and 16 miles yesterday. $30k.

Damn, that's great. Is that with rebates without the 0%?

That's with $2k rebate and $3,115.23 trade in on a '98 Maxima with 193,000 miles. I really worked them with shopping at different dealers in the area. It was some work, but obviously worked out.

Whew! I thought you really meant 30K. I would take that as 33K or 35K with 0% apr. Good job though.

Yeah, I guess my post was a little confusing.

With the blue book research I did and trying to sell the trade in myself, I would have been lucky to get $1500 for the car, so they did me a favor there.

Seems we continue to pay premium prices for the Max up here in the Great White North. 2010 with Premium still running $43,000+ per the site and very little apparent ****er room up here north of Toronto. Anyone have recent success? Also - wondering if by July with the 2011's out whether we'll see much price movement?

What is everyone saying or using for leverage when they are getting these low prices?? I see loaded sv's with premium and tech, people are getting them around 33??? I leased mine, a base s for about invoice, but couldn't imagine the dealer going for the deals some of you are posting...

Postings are a little skewed as they have not mentioned if they took the rebate or 0% apr, trade-in or cash down. I my basic SV for 31K with 0%, no rebate, before any trade in or cash down.

I test drove the cars I like first. Made a decision which one I want to buy, got quotes from dealers on line, and made them compete. Best way to buy a car so you want have to look at these sharks at the dealer until you know the price and ready to buy.

I found the max I wanted at a couple of local dealers and went to each one negotiating for the best price. It would get to a high pressure situation each time, but if they didn't at least meet the number that I wanted, I would leave. I left out negotiating with my trade in until they got very close to my number. It took over a week, but I think I got a good deal.

My trade in was a '98 Max with high miles and not in the best shape. It reached a point with one dealership where they asked "You want us to give you $3,100 for THAT car?" (to reach my magic number). I responded "I'm not saying I want $3,100 for the car, I just want $3,100 off the price you've given me and you can have the car, I don't care where you take it off from." That was the dealership where I bought.

The dealerships obviously have a lot more wiggle room than they would want you to believe. I was just patient. I got a '10 black/black premium tech Max with everything. With rebate, trade in, taxes, tag, and $5,000 down, it came to $27,500.

New to Maxima Forum

Picked my 2010 Ocean Grey Nissan Maxima on April 13 for 26,083. I added leather to the car, because its something I wanted. Other than that it doesnt have any options.
Also I live in Quincy, Mass.

Grrr, I was offered sport w/ tech for 360/mo as I said before, only license, regi, bank fees and whatever upfront, tax in the monthly payments. I still have two payments left on my car though and the only way to switch now is to work my remaining payments into the new ones. I was also quoted 375/mo by a dealership, but they will take my car.... If I get rid of my car now, that 360/mo turns into 375 as well haha, I hate having this ITCH, can't decide if an extra 15 bucks/mo is worth switching two months early! I'm gonna go nag the dealer some more this weekend, at 368/mo I'll take it :P
PS, its too bad I cant start a new thread yet!!!

Well went to look at some maximas. Test drove a few and when we went to talk numbers in the office they had a car on the showroom floor with writing on it saying it was a managers special....I figured the car would have a lot of miles but it only had 56......The sticker was 37,XXX (cant remember) The finance guy came out and told me he really wanted to move the car....they showed me numbers just once and it was a deal

2010 Tuscan Sun SV Prem with spoiler...$32,100 before taxes. The original quote was around $32,500 plus taxes but the dealer used a 6% tax rate rather than the 7% tax rate that my county uses, although I had told them to use 7% (I bought from a dealer in a different county). I chose 0% APR and put $6,000 down.

Looking back, I kinda wish I had gotten the tech package as well. It would have only added $25/month; although in total it would have cost an extra $1,500 which is a lot when in essence the only desired part of the package is navigation.

Hey, need help here, I got quoted the other day from a leasing company in brooklyn, 2010 SV Sport/Tech for an incredible price, 339 / month 3k out of pocket (lease of course) but heres the thing, If I delete the tech package, thats a car note thats about 40-50 bucks cheaper per month, Im still gonna get the monitor package, but is nav really worth 50 bucks a month extra? I mean, my dad lets me borrow his Garmin Nuvi if I need directions to somewhere Any opinions are welcome.

Can a dealer match that price? I always feel better dealing with them vs a third party leasing company because they have less flexabilty when its time to return.Use your dad's GPS or cellphone. 50x39=$1950. If you can afford to pay that monthly just do so without the Nav and in 30-34 months you'll have positive equity to use towards a new one with the pull ahead program that Nissan offers or save it your choice.
