Actually the third party leasing companies get the car from dealer stock and you service it and return it to the dealer that they got the car from, this is what I hear. The price is discounted heavily because these companies move cars like their candy bars, No dealer was gonna match that, I was at Staten Island Nissan today to look at Max (and the GT-R) and the salesman was low balling me like crazy, I just left and took they guy's card like watever. And yea, I dont feel like spending an extra 50 bucks A month for something I will maybe use 3 times a year, my dad's gps will do. thanks for your input btw, was very helpful.

BTW, Most dealers are not obligated or will absolutley not compete with third party pricing, since basically they are wholesalers, the same way Best Buy would not compete with pricing on items with Costco.

Team Nissan on 41 - but Regal would have matched it - just didn't have one of the right color and all options. Regal was easier to work with.

I dealt with Town Center and Regal. Ended up buying from Regal. Much easier to work with and a better deal.

Just got word from my guy at a leasing company that right now Nissan has a special lease on the fully loaded premium and tech for NE region customers, 379/ month with only taxes and tags due uprfont. I got priced out at 215/ month for an SV Sport and Monitor with 5k upfront. It maybe available in other regions, I dont know if it is or not.

I would jump on the opportunity to get that price. There are Yaris on the road for more than that.

I know right that is a beast price, I have a job now and I can swing that payment easy but, there are two things in my way right now, my current car and my mom, lol. But 215 a month is nothing for a car tht has an MSRP of over $37,000

That's easy, sell the car to your mom's friend you really needs one at a great price and explain to your mom that the car is part of the job image requirement guideline section 27.78 part 6 par.8 On a serious note what is the problem.

Well I have to register the car in my dad's name since I am a snot nosed 18 year old kid with no credit, they wont give me that price unless he signs, I have a guy who is selling my car for me so thats taken care of, but my dad doesn't want me to get the car unless my Mom agrees with him and I. As you can see my mom has complete control over the men in my house, lol. I really want this damn car, she doesnt see it as a nice car for 215 a month, she sees it as 215 going out the window every month.

Yea Im gonna sit down with her and tell her all this stuff, maybe she'll listen, I've had issues with my used car and that is why im going brand new, Ill try to get these things through her head. The safety featurse definitley help because they help insurance prices, plus, my current car doesnt have side curtain airbags, at least I don't think so.

I just purchased a brand new 2010 SV with the Premuium and Tech packages. I also got the spolier and the floor/trunk mat. I paid $34,700 out-the-door at Darcars Nissan in Rockville, MD. This OTD price also includes the 3% Virginia sales tax and the registration fee. I took the rebates and paid cash.

How did you like Darcars Nissan? I've dealt with their 355 Toyota dealership, and find all Darcars dealerships to be some of the WORST in the area. Pushy, lying salespeople.

Well boys (and girls), my leasing company is awaiting an answer from the bank!
'10 Max, sport, monitor ~1300 in fees and 356/mo. Also hoping they eat at least 1 of my 2 remaining altima payments. I'm so excited I don't even want to go to work haha.

Not a bad buying experience. The sales guy, Andre, that I dealt with was OK. The finance guy tried to upsell me all kinds of stuff - extended warranty, paint protection, maintenance package, etc... I declined them all. I basically found the exact same car at Carmax and I told them to beat the price. I printed out the Carmax pricing on their website - so either beat the price or I go buy the car at Carmax that's 30 minutes north. Overall, the entire transaction took less than 1 hour to complete.

What leasing company bc Marquis Auto offered me the Sport Monitor for 315/month, with only fees due, but I dont have payments to take over. Im hoping to pickup a sport/monitor for 215/month with 5k out of pocket.

Oh really, I havent done any shopping around in about 1-2 weeks and this is the price I was getting form them all back then, so I just called Easy leasing and agreed on this price since thats what I was expecting... I will let them have it tomorrow since nothing is signed yet!
I really wanted the tech package, but apparently the rabates are no longer the same on tech cars and the difference is tremendous from what it was 2 months ago. Thanks for the heads up, I'll update when the sale is final!
Oh PS, I was approved for Tier 2, they said they will try to work with the bank tomorrow... If not I'll have my mom co-sign I guess.

Ur getting molested, The guys I got my deal from told me a fully loaded SV premium and tech would be 420 a month with zero down, add the 40 a month for tier 2 credit and thats 460, you shouldn't be paying over 500.

Zero down isn't sign and drive, zero is fees which is over 1,000(nearly 40$ bump in monthly payment to roll it in). Spoiler is extra 400, thats 10 bucks a month, tints are 300, thats 10 bucks, 3k budget for rims, thats 100 bucks. And if rims/tints/spoiler were residualized within the MSRP, which I don't think they were, that would still be 65$ a month extra for those 3 items.

Molested...

I stand corrected I know what zero down means but I never knew you had all that extra stuff, my bad.

Just bought my new Maxima

Live in San Antonio Texas. Purchased a 2010 Maxima. Black on Black with Sport Package. It was a demo with 2,600 miles on it. I paid $27,700 for it. Could not pass it up since I was able to knock off most of year one depreciation. LOVE THE RIDE!

I traded in a 1997 Nissan Maxima. Had 160,000 on it. It was having some serious problems and it was time to make the change.

2010 SV Premium + tech + monitor + etc

So I just got my 2010 Frost white with light interior Premium, Monitor, Tech with all options MSRP 40,200 my deal was a little more convoluted but my base value of the car was approx 32,462. I purchased 3 years of service for 569 and 10yr/100K extended warranty for 1569 (I was told it normally sold for 2800).

I felt I got a good deal, I was able to roll some negative equity into my loan that was at 1.9% for 72 months.

And Atlanta seems hot to sell some cars.. My came from Sutherlin Nissan by Mall of Ga

Looks like we have nearly identical cars! Got mine at Team in Marietta.
Enjoy

BTW: I have no desire to change the wheels, lower the springs, or darken the lights. Judging from some of the threads on this site there must be something wrong with me - I like the car just as it is.

Looks like we do have twin cars.. I am going to do a few mods probably exhaust, intake, few trim pieces like the chrome piece that goes on the lower portion of door. I would like to do some 20" deep dish wheels even tho its front wheel drive. For some reason I see the sedan and I see a cheaper R34 GT-R mostly the front flares.

I like to lower it too but I don't like springs an shocks, rebound rates and dampening rates are never synced to be exactly whats needed versus a coilover system thats been put on a shock dyno.
