An 08 Altima S bro u can get more than 10k for that car the dealer will take it and sell it for like 14k. You can get more than you owe on it Im 100% man go to the dealer and look around.

I just calculated your estimated trade-in value on KBB. Here it is: http://www.kbb.com/kbb/UsedCars/Pric...QuizConditions=

Is this to much for a 2010 maxima SV premium tech package everything on it list for 39605. I dont want to put any money down what do you think I could get to on a 39month 15k lease? Right now the monthly payments are 450 and I put 2500 down. Is this a decent deal or very bad????

Thats too much, you shouldnt have to put down 2500 and pay 450 a month, most people pay that much w/ zero down. I would re-negotiate and I dont think 15k miles spikse the price that much, with a monthly payment of 450 you shouldn't have to give them anything except taxes and stuff, maybe 480 or 470 for the 15k miles. 480-450=30,
30 x 39 = 1170, so dont let them tell you that the 2500 down for the 15k miles is a legit price bc thats way over.

Got my wife a new max.

2010 White/Cafe Latte SV
Tech package
Cold Package
Xenon Headlights
Monitor Package
Mats
Splash Guards
Spoiler

$2000 down 3.25 APR and I took the $1250 incentive (several people asked about apr's after taking the incentive)

MSRP: $38,220
Invoice: $34,805
Paid: $31,100 (before MD tax)

This deal is nothing compared to what I've seen on here. The finance and sales managers were not too happy with this deal but they made it happen and begged me to recommend people to make up for the money they lost! lol. My wife is happy.

Thanks for the info, Based on the information should I expect to get anywhere in the 13's for my trade in? that would get me closer to what I want to pay. One more question, does anyone know what the interest rates are if someone does take the rebates. I am considering buying a maxima but want to look at financing..

You basically got the car for a few hundred under invoice. There is "hold back" or dealer profit already included in the invoice price and dealers sometime receive volume discounts. Good deal you got, but you would be naive to believe that the guys at the dealership lost money!

ok. Well I have no idea how all that works as I'm not in the car business. I'm just telling you what they told me. However compared to other deals I see here I think I did well. I got offered a Premium/Tech for $32500 at another dealer but my wife didnt care about the features enough to pay the extra dough.

If I was you I wouldn't take any less. Heres what you do, go in there, tell them you wanna trade it, let them appraise it first before you show them this bc maybe they MIGHT offer you a little more. If they offer you more than that's great, if they offer you less, show them this and say that you won't settle for less than KBB's estimate. Shop around a few places of course bc I know right know Dealers are trying to compete with each other.

Idk much about Infiniti pricing but, that seems high, i'd want to go lower than that, but, that 3.7 liter powering a 7spd tranny linked up to an AWD system will take it's toll when it comes to fuel economy, especially if you have lead foot. You can buy a Nissan Maxima with premium and Navi for about 33 or 34k rite now or maybe less, why shell out another 4k for an Infiniti, also the g37 sedan has some horrible rear seat space. It's your decision man, good luck.

I would aim for at least 37,500. If you're not good at haggling then just go to www.overstock.com and build your car, click "locate your dealer" and once you put in your contact info (real or fake) and it will give you a list of dealers that will honor that price. It works. At least in my area and I used that as leverage. However, some of the prices that people post here are really low and they act as if it's easy to get that pricing when it takes a lot of patience and pain to get it that low. If you want a good deal be prepared to spend quite a bit of time though.

Not trying to steal your thunder. You did good! Just wanted you to know that the dealerships will tell you what they think you want to hear (like we lost money on you and stuff like that)!

Tell me about it. Instead of trading in my 5.5 gen and getting a SV, I kept it and opted for the S package. Now I have serious buyers remorse watching everyone else driving around in their SV's. If only I could have turn signals on my mirrors too But in all seriousness, I thought I was getting a good deal at the time---until I checked out the deals you guys were getting..

What was so bad about the deal? If it's a lease you might be able to do a swap.

^^^Not necessarily a "bad" deal. I just paid more (29K out the door) than I should have, compared to others of course. No lease for me, I financed. I'm thinking if its worth it to trade it in for the 2011 when it comes out later this year---I only have 5k miles on her at the moment.

I stopped by dealership this afternoon and test drove a '10 SV with the sports package and the monitor system. stickers a little above 37k. Was asked about about a trade in, mentioned my '08 altima S. I owe $7600 on it. After a little discussion the sales manager said that he knew he could get me into that SV for about 24k with trade in. Does this sound like a good deal?

Go to 0verstock.com and see what some of the prices offered are, because in my area it's like 7k off of sticker, jus check that before you go and seal the deal. bc maybe hes willing to let the car gpt 30,500 and hes only giving you like 4k for your trade, go to overstock.com and check what the prices in your area are.

That is what I was thinking, Kelly BB is giving me 14,500 and NADA is giving 14900. As I said earlier I owe 7500 on my '08 altima. I figure he is going about 7k off the sticker and 5k on my trade in. I need another 2k on trade in and I will definitely be in the ball park. I know that the current incentives (2.5k) are about to expire on the 30th of June. Figure I will wait and see what July will have. Thinking I will buy and finance for 66 or 72 months. Does anyone know what the current interest rate is for tier 1 at 72 month?

I believe it is 1.9% for 72 months and 0% for 60 months.
