Purchased the 60 Mo/75K Miles Gold warranty but may take that back. $1500

One the negative side, they did not do the needed changes to take the car out of "lot mode" (a fuse box fix and a fix with the turn signal/wiper arms) and the cruise control is not engaging so have had some issues with it.

I don't think I'd be too happy with that on a car that had 10 miles! Price is awesome, however.

I am not though they still owe me the spoiler (they had to order it) so I am not trying to be too harsh at the moment.

Same car I am looking at (only with the spoiler). Lowest I have seen is $35,500 + all taxes fees additional. I don't know how you guys get these deals for $3K less for the same car but good for you!

Where are you located? I bought my car at Criswell Nissan in Germantown, MD. look at their website for the internet price, almost all the Maximas SV are at least 6k below MSRP.

I got mine at Mike Shad Nissan in Jacksonville. They actually offered the car I purchased (White SV with Premium and Premium Tech...bascially all you can get on this car, MSRP was around 41K) on a lease at $299 a month with $3K down, 12K miles a year and 39 months but I did not want a lease. For some reason they were trying to get rid of this one...the cruise problem I have had can't be the only reason so maybe I will find out as I drive it more.

Best way to get a good deal is simply let the dealerships know you're looking other places and ask them to match pricing others give you. You'll be able to tell real quick who wants your business and who doesn't. My girl just got a 2011 Altima 2.5 SL and basically made 3 dealerships all fight it out and the one in Germantown, MD gave her the lowest price (kept matching the offers of the others and beating it) on what she wanted and it really took a lot of the work/haggling/stress out of it. Once they realize you're informed enough to know you're not going to grossly overpay, they just try to move the car off the lot.

Oh and time of year/month can change a lot too. Dealerships have monthly quotas they need to reach, as well as quarterly quotas. End of the month is good, end of the quarter is better, end of the year probably the best. Keep in mind they pay money for every car on the lot they have so definitely want them to move.

Picked up an '09 S (white w/21k miles) with splash guards and trunk mat for $20k + taxes and fees from a dealer in NJ. I'm thinking that it's a good deal. Thoughts?

2011 SV w/Sport Package - $31,300 in D.C. I wanted a silver one, but bought the Tuscan Sun (the red one) and love it! Added the nose mask, and a little tint for some flair.

I know this is for new car purchases but I have a strong dislike for buying new cars unless it's one helluva deal.

I have been searching online since the end of April to find a Maxima to replace my deer-totaled 2008 Sentra. I test drove a 2010 Crimson Black SV (loaded) with roughly 7000 miles on it. Loved it. Wanted to wait to have the insurance and GAP payments to clear the Sentra before I got another car. Three days after I drove the Crimson Bandit, it was gone.

So I took to the internet and started searching - Autotrader.com, Cars.com, Carmax, and Vehix. Didn't see many Crimson Blacks like the one I drove. Did see some silver ones (the color I initially wanted).

June 24th, I found the one in my picture, as is, online in Turnersville, NJ. June 25th, my wife and I drove the hour and 45 minutes to see it. Loved it. Previous owner traded it in for a 2011. Not sure exactly why. It only had 6500 miles on it, it was their third car and garage-kept. He added the 20" wheels, mesh grilles, tinted rear windows, and remote start.

The dealership had it listed at $34,000. The online price was $30,500. Was there any need to negotiate? We didn't think so either. We drove it... all the way home!

I wanted a Range Rover Sport. But I told my wife if I got the Max instead, she could get the Range Rover. Still working on the Range. But I'm loving the hell outta this Max! I get the most kick out of using the paddle shifters. 4DSC is exactly what this is!

MAX and all:

I'm trying to join the Maxima club. The dealer here in Houston is offering me a 2011 SV with premium package and tech for:

$32,942 (rebate) @ 3.99% finance, or
$34,353 (no rebate) @ 0.9%

I would have to not take the rebate in order to get the special financing and overall lower cost. I was getting flustered in there so I left to think it over and would like your opinions if this is a decent deal. It seems like some are getting better deals ($32.5k) but I imagine that is very rare. Please advise guys and thanks.

Hope to be an actual club member/owner soon.

Edit: This seems to be the best price they'll give me. May pick up tonight/this weekend, but since this is a pretty big purchase for me I want to hear from you guys. What do you think?

Not sure where you are located but those prices are both better than what I have seen here in Southern California.

If it is the SV with Premium and Premium Tech, trunk organizer, spolier, mats, etc. then the list should be somewhere aroudn 40-41K. TrueCar says there is a dealer selling it for $34,419 around me. I'd like to find them! Everybody I've talked to is around 37K which seems crazy to me. I'm waiting for the end of the month and the 2012s to push out 2011 inventory.

I'm paying cash and would jump on your 33K price!

Good luck and please come back and let us know what happened!

I haven't researched that trim but from your numbers and what I've seen on here you're doing good. You're getting another $2k off of invoice after already getting the $2k off invoice via rebates.

I'm in Texas and imagine socal would be a little pricier. That's a good idea to wait for '12s to come in to get a better deal. For me, this deal appears good enough that I'm going to jump, plus its the only available exact color/package combo I wanted close to me. I'm picking it up later today and will report in.

Edit: Ok, I pulled the trigger and just drove home with it. They gave me the below price after the rebate of $1,500 (so price negotiate was roughly $34k). Also, I suggest we have a uniform way of presenting our info. I've started with mine below. Feel free to add/edit the template to make it better. I think using this would make it easier to locate the info that we're looking for. Also, maybe we can add dealership name?

Country/State/City of purchase: Houston, TX
Month/Yr of purchase: 7/11
Price paid before tax/lic (including factory installed mods): 32,500 (after $1,500 rebate)
Model Yr: 2011
Trim: SV
Premium/Sport: Premium
Tech: Tech
Misc (options): tint, wheel locks, nitrogen

Just bought my wife a silver 2011 S with Black interior from Chantilly Nissan for $24,881 freight included plus tax. She loved my dark blue 2011 S so much, we got rid of her 2007 Honda Pilot. I am taking my wife's car to the dealer Monday to add the spoiler.

Maybe we will drag race in August to see who has bragging rights. I have not told her about the automatic S mode yet. BTW, I smoked a BMW 335i the other day. It wasn't even close after I caught up to him. He looked surprised at the next stop light.

I'm trying to become a member of the maxima club. I was wondering if this is a good deal a 2009 super black maxima sv w/ 16k miles and w/o any packages for 22000 plus tax and processing fee. That's the cheapest for a used sv I have seen in my area. 1 owner and clean auto check.

New to the max club!! just fot a 11 sv with prem. and tech pkg. 40,380msrp. paid 33,800 +ttl.+ interest. had a great credit score, only got 4.9 on the rate after they shopped it. feel like they prob. hosed us there but can always refi.!! one year oil changes and tire rotation included, didnt buy any additional coverage. felt like we did ok considering it was all spur of the moment!! we had went to drive a tl at acura, they were ok but the dealer was wantin 36k for 09's with 50k miles, non awd!! the max drove better, didnt feel as bulky, and the interior was miles above the tl! we traded in a 06 tsx with70k miles for 13k. swore we werent buying new, but felt like we did ok, looks like we coulda done better on the financing though!!!

41700$ CANADIAN, for my 2010 Maxima SV Premium+Tech pack in March 2011.

When I look at the prices you guys paid, I go jealous but then I remember I'm in Canada so...... I just take my gas!

By the way, I fueled my car a 1,47$ CAN /Liter (super 94 octane) yesterday.... disappointed but I'll have to live with it!

Nissan announced a $3000 Cash Back incentive on new 2011s today! The incentive ends on 8/1/2011 which means the 2012s must be arriving in August.

Going back to those dealers that gave me a 37K bottom price and asking for $35.5 now and there's not much they can say although I'm sure they'll think of some excuse!!!!

Wish me luck!

I just bought mine a little over a week ago! smh. I'm not too upset though, just because my car was in exactly the way I wanted it (trim, color, etc) and if I would have waited it may have been gone. I'll just look at it as a $1500 premium for getting exactly what I want...yeah, that makes me feel better. Too bad they don't have a 30-day rebate guarantee for something, ha.

I don't think you'll have a problem because if they agreed to the 37k and Nissan offered another 1.5k in rebates, the dealership doesn't lose any money by selling to you for 35.5k. It'll be the same exact deal for them profit-wise (other than interest on loan).

Pretty sure I got a good deal on mine. Just brought it home yesterday and already love it. 2011 SV, Arctic white, tan interior, tech pkg, etc... MSRP was just above $36k and we walked out without having to put anything down, 4.9 for 72 mnths @$513 which came out to $31 and some change borrowed. Not too bad I don't think.

Paid 31,080 for a 2010 Sport with Tech on July 31, 2010.
Traded 2010 with 14k miles for 30,900 and got a 2011 Premium with Tech & Spoiler for 31,400 on Aug 1, 2011 and lowered my interest rate by 3%. MSRP just over 40k.

All prices plus tax. 2011 has 2 years of maintenance included. Wanted my sport wheels but dealer would not take them off due to warranty issues. O well I think I got a great deal.

Bought a 2011 Maxima S Black Crimson a few days ago. Had tint already. Sticker was $34525. I paid $25999 before tax/tag/fees. Used the 2500+500 rebates, plus the lot guy painted the window w/ the wrong price, so the dealer had to honor it. Adding a spoiler is next. I saw you can order them on ebay for a steal, way less then the dealer charges

Bought 2011 Nissan Maxima SV + premium for 30,492$ [34492 VPP - 4000 rebate]

OTD with taxes was 34,000 [Damn 9.8% sales tax]

Should have done better on the deal. With all the nice prices I see in this forum
