Leases
Leasing terms are favorable right now also. The lease loyalty and lease cash add up to $2500 plus NMAC has very low rates on leases. I am very surprised at the offer to forgive the last SIX lease payments and make the deal now. May be due to low mileage on the 2009 and they know it will sell at a good profit over the residual.
Unless something falls through, we will get another S model on Friday for under $310.00 a month with zero down and taxes and bank fee included..not to mention the six payments written off... license plate not included, that will be out of pocket.

Well, I pulled the trigger last night on a 2011 S. White w/charcoal interior.
The first quote was over the phone and they were figuring the VPP incorrectly. I had to show them how it worked. They were not taking the discounts off dealer invoice.
So with VPP and current rebates your looking at $4500 off dealer invoice. schweeeet!
Drove it home - $25500 before taxes ($7250 under MSRP). The new additional $500 rebate helped some!!! I think it is only avaliable during this holiday weekend. ............and got a 2.14% rate for 48 mos!
And a lifetime warranty from dealer!!
You can not get a used 2010 for that.

I had a blank check from Capital One that was at 2.76% that i figured they could not beat the rate.
My debt to car value was only 58-60%, so maybe the rate was better because of that. - borrowed less than $18K.
Sorry to hijack post, just looking for information. Tried to start a new threat/post but am locked out.
Looking at purchacing a new or 2010 used Maxima, looks like I will need an SV as I like leather interiors. Comming out of a fully loaded M45 with everything, just a great car to drive and few feel as good on the road, drove the Maxima and its not a huge step down as the interior in my opinion is just as nice and the exterior is just great looking, driven the Maxima and the CVT will be a huge factor for me to get past. The M45 is my first Nissan product and suffers with quite a few quality issues...just trying to see what year and common problems the Maxima is having and also prices expect to be paid, I am in South Florida. So far with the M45's have seen...excessive oil consumption, wheel bearings/tire issues, rocking drivers seat, dash rattles, and noisey A/C compressor. The M45 also requires regourious servicing, flushing all fluids every 30kmi. Are these issues common to Nissan in gerneral or just the M's and how are the new ones with the CVTs holding up, my budget is $28k. Thanks a million.

My girlfriends brother works at a hyundai dealer and they have sister nissan dealer and he got the car from them for me @ that price. That was the price before ttl. And no accidents did a carfax and autocheck before purchase and 1 owner. I really didnt have a choice but to get it.

Used 2010 SV Premium, 12 K miles - good price?
Hi All,
Considering a 2010 SV with Premium package. Has about 12K miles on it. Wondering what y'all think would be a good price here in California? Assuming I can get a 2011 similarly equipped for $33K, am thinking $26K-$27K would be a reasonable target, assuming 15% depreciation per year for 1.5 years.

Just joined the club... 2011 Maxima SV Premium with tech, spoiler, splash guards, carpet floor/trunk mats, and trunk organizer (they wouldn't let me take that out). Came to $36,178 with VPP.
Loving it so far!

Any comments on the trunk organizer? I bought the nets and installed them. I don't know if the trunk organizer has any value above that.
I'm looking to get rid of my 2010 Maxima SV Sport with Nav fully loaded. 30k. You can take over my payments and just pay the difference of 30k which is probably a couple thousand. 0% interest. Pm me for details if interested.
Lease
What are you guys getting on lease terms for SV premiums? I am planning to lease at end of year clearance but these $3000 rebates have me thinking sooner may be just as good. Is $379/mo 39mo lease $0 dwn too far fetched?
I'm brand new here. Brand new 2011 Maxima, Black-- Got her May 31st, this year.
Got a fully decked SV package - all add-ons, kick plates, brand plates on door step frame, wind-deflector on sun roof, 19" rims, mats. (Basically everything but the nav system)
Out of the door cost 32,900 1.8% APR. MSRP was at 38,000.
I LOVE this thing.
EDIT: Just added a picture when I first bought it. Since then I bought Black and white TX plates.

Is $35700 OTD a great price for a brand NEW 2011 Maxima SV with premium package, technology package, spoiler, and tint? Im looking at getting the white with charcoal interior, i think it looks hot with the two tone look with the dual moonroof.
Wait until the END OF THE MONTH. Trust me; I mean like the last 2 days of the month.
2012s are out, also, so maybe even way cheaper than that. But if you want a 2012, same package, offer the $34,000. The worse they can say is "no", but they want your business.....
Make a counter offer of $34,000 and see what they say.

but i think im getting a good deal, and they had to bring one in from 8 hours away and DIDN'T charge me a transfer fee.
Msrp: 40,735
Invoice: 37,075
Holdback 2.8% 1038
Rebate: 3000
Dealer paid: 33,037
Im paying: 33,364 pre ttl
OTD: 35779.85
I just got a blk/blk SV Sport $37,8xx msrp. I like it a lot.
$365 tax in (6.5%) on a 39mo/12k mi lease with $1500 at signing was as low as I could work. That's tier 1 credit level at about .1% interest. With Nissan loyalty it would have been better. I'll get it next time I guess.

i agree, but i wished i could wait. changing careers and have to give up my company car. so timing is crucial.

So I ended up paying: $35369 OTD

for a 2011 Maxima SV White/Charcoal with Premium Package, Premium Tech Package, Spoiler, Tint, ALL Mats including Trunk Mat, and Splash Guards.

i bought my Maxima in August, 2009 SV sport tech package with 45k miles for $25000 including taxes dealer fee and everything, though i wish i had a dealer licence because you can get them at the auction between 4000-9000 $ lower than kbb.
Got a quote for $30395 for a new 2011 SV with monitor package. Will also do .9 for 60 months. Still have to add dealer fees, tax etc. What can I expect to pay for a 100kmi warranty? Is this good or should I wait longer when the 2012's are in and clearing out the 2011's. I was hoping to get out the door for 30k, do you think this could happen with a new SV? The S is good, but want the nice leather and extra features of the SV. Thanks a million for your input.
great deal on 2011
just drove home with my maxed out Maxima for $9,000 under MSRP of $41250 ($32,007 before ttl).
(SV with Premium and Tech packages, spoiler, mats with trunk, and splash guards.)
Brought my own finance check at 2.75%, but they got me 1.8% from my same bank.
Had to drive 1.5 hours to Crystal Lake Illinois to get that deal, but no other Chicagoland dealer could touch it. Couldn't believe the number quoted in email was gonna stick until I signed, but it did and I drove away quick before they could change their mind.
so just had to add dark tint on all five windows and WeatherTech floor liners to keep it clean.
Killer car at a killer deal!

the deals to be had are right now on 2011 since the 2012's are en route.
Last September I bought a 2010 SV Base sticker was 34k I got it for 32k I put 2000 down and my payments were 358 a month...not bad....well August 30th 2011 I bout a 2011 SV with Sport/Tech package Fulllllly Loaded with 20 miles on it...sticker was 41k I got it for 36.8k, I put ZERO down and my payments are 385 a month...no tax no dmv fees or watever I paid for the 2010 they ate all these costs, I dont know how but I basically Stole this car...I love it...Super Black With Premium Charcoal Leather....19s, spoiler, sport tuned suspension, Navi, Back-up Camera, Memory Seats, 9gb hard drive etc... It was the end of the month and they had a quota to meet I told them I cant pay more then this amount they tried tellin me 475 450 400, I said I cant do it so I left and 2 days later they called me back said they can do it for me....Wat do u guys think??
Best way to get a good deal is simply let the dealerships know you're looking other places and ask them to match pricing others give you. You'll be able to tell real quick who wants your business and who doesn't. My girl just got a 2011 Altima 2.5 SL and basically made 3 dealerships all fight it out and the one in Germantown, MD gave her the lowest price (kept matching the offers of the others and beating it) on what she wanted and it really took a lot of the work/haggling/stress out of it. Once they realize you're informed enough to know you're not going to grossly overpay, they just try to move the car off the lot.
Oh and time of year/month can change a lot too. Dealerships have monthly quotas they need to reach, as well as quarterly quotas. End of the month is good, end of the quarter is better, end of the year probably the best. Keep in mind they pay money for every car on the lot they have so definitely want them to move.

You are def right on man...im only 28 and i have bought myself 4 new cars but each time i learn more and more, I watched my father buy cars from when i was young and the only way to do it is shop around and dont let them know how interested you are...my 2011 max i got last month i wanted it so bad cause i had a 2010 sv base without nav or anything so i wanted to upgrade but I acted like I didnt really care if I got it or not...it was the end of the month and they need to meet there quota....They started off by telling me with NO money down on the sport/tech it will come out to at least 480 or so a month...i said no chance keep trying...I finally got them down to 400 and I still said no sorry i cant do it and i Left, I went to another dealer the same day and I couldnt get them to go under 450, I said look I was at another dealer today and I got a better price so if u can beat it Ill buy today from you he said look I really cant go any lower with Zero Down if your getting this deal then go get it...crazy right...a few days go buy and the first dealer calls me and says his boss wants me to come back we can make a deal for me and i got them down to 385 with nothing down....I gave them my first month 385 thats it...I feel like i stole the car haha...
The salesman told me he only made $50 commission on my sale...i was like how come you guys would make this deal if your losing out..he said they have quotas to meet...lucky for me I went in when I did....Sticker was $41k and Im under 400 a month...

That will be really tough I had to walk out and have them call me a few days later...I got 385/mo with 0 down 39 months...you have to play hardball and don't give them an inch...and this was on the sport/tech package, so if u just want the premium no tech then you can get it, even if you want premium/tech i think its a little less then sport/tech...
