How much did you pay? *New car shopper*
The lowest I could get my 2011 SV Sport + Monitor, Brilliant Silver Metallic, floor mats (carpet & rubber), lug locks, trunk mat, Emergency kit, Clear edge door protectors (don't know the name for it) for $35K OTD.
I also purchase the ext warranty, maintenance and GAP.
The perfect birthday gift for myself!!

New here as you can see over to the left. Just purchased 2010 SV Premium Tech with 14800 miles for $29,977 before ttl. No dings and 1 small scratch on rear bumper. Very impressed with the car.
New owner here! After months of research and test drives (went from 4WD CUVs to AWD sedans to just plain FWD sedans for the Chicago snow), I ended up leasing a 2011 Maxima SV with Premium and Tech Packages. It's Ocean Grey colored with the rear spoiler add-on.
Got it for $366/month after 3000 down. Hopefully I didn't get suckered into a bad deal! Car's price was reduced from 40.1k to about 34k after the $1000 rebate (I was also negative in my trade about $500...I'll miss my Miata!!). They have to do a dealer trade for it because dealerships here didn't have it.

Wow that is an insane deal. I thought I did pretty well but yours just killed it! I should have negotiated harder darnit! Hahaha.
Thoughs on this?
I think this is a bit too high still but need everyone's thoughts.
Current deal offered is:
2011 Maxima 3.5 SV CVT
Full Loaded with -
Cold Package
Splash Guards
Premium Package
Rear Spoiler
Technology Premium Package Carpeted Floor and Trunk Mats
MSRP- $40,110
Invoice is $36,452
After rebate they want 34,852 plus TTL and 299 processing fee.
I'm thinking a good deal would be 34K (which would include the 1K rebate, processing fee, a trunk sub-floor organizer, and emergency kit) and then TTL. I'll be putting down about 21K and have financing to cover the rest.
Thoughts everyone???

I would try to go lower, someone on here bought a Fully optioned 2011 Premium/tech for 31k. Dont rush it, just keep haggeling, your in the drivers seat not them, they are the ones who need to make money, so make them earn it! Also, go to truecar.com and check the pricing in your area.
I think it depends on how desperate the dealer is at that point and time. I visited two Nissan dealers here recently and they had every office filled with prospective buyers and tons of people on the lot. I think $33500 would be a good deal for the essentially $41k car and with haggling you should be able to get there, maybe even better. If there are any other dealers with the same car, go there and let them know you are ready to buy and have another deal on the table and ask them to beat it. You can smudge the numbers in your favor slightly to give you a better starting point for negotiation. If they start way off the mark in negotiation. Let them know you are insulted since you already have the other deal waiting and walk out, 99% chance they will stop you and ask what they need to do to have you buy there.
prices seem to be going up...truecar new car prices are creeping up.
don't know if it's due to thejapanese earthquake crisis or just simply demand.
this is not a "economical" car, this is a "emotion" car.

Thanks everyone! Very helpful! I've managed to get one dealer to a little over 33k which I think is good. No cold package, but since it has the premium, supposedly all it's missing is the heated steering wheel which I tried out and it's not that big of a deal. Mainly I wanted to be sure it had the heated side view mirrors and that's included in the prem package. Ahh...the details.
It's interesting to work with the dealers. I'm a cut to the chase kind of person so negotiating is painful.

I actually recently traded in my 09' Maxima SV Sport that I bought used for a 11' SV Sport Tech. I loved my 09, but I got it so cheap that I was able to trade it in for just about what I bought it for and was able to get a new one with monitor/nav/etc and a color I liked a bit better.
09' Trade in: $26500 (trade and amount owed on loan about $400 off)
11' SV Sport Tech (MSRP $40080), Cost: $33500
After TTL and a few hundred neg equity out the door was $35130.
Worth the small penalty in payments to get into a 2011, for me anyway.

It should give you the best three prices close to your zip code and those prices should all be somewhat better than the quoted good deal price. If in a heavily populated area you might check using zip codes that are close to you. In the New Jersey area there are dozens of dealers in a 50 mile radius for example.
I dont know how things work in other states, but in mine we pay our tag, title, and tax a few weeks later at the tag agency. No one negotiates an "OTD" price with these costs included. I paid $27900 for a 2010 Premium+Tech with spoiler and 19" sport wheels with 29K miles. Tires were replaced at 15k miles. I also paid an additional $1600 for the Nissan 100k "wrap" extended warranty.
OK I HAVE QUESTION TO ALL YOU 7TH GEN MAX OWNERS IM NEW TO THIS FORUM BUT WHEN Y'ALL SAY $30,000+/- IS THAT WITH TAX TITLE & LICENSE OR WITHOUT.
MINE I PAYED $28,200 BEFORE TTL (AND STUPID DEALER CHARGES) AND AFTER $32,800 FOR NEW 11 MAX SV NO TECH OR SPORT PACK.

To sarahevans... Why would you want to put 21k down! That's eff'n crazy... To out that amount of money down on something you'll keep no more than about 10 years (on average) is a huge waste. If it's the amount o payments that concern you either lease (not a fan of this personally), buy used (ideally 15-20k miles) or expect a payment of 500-550. If the payments are the concern go with used, chech the carfax and make sure they were taking care of it. In short save the money!
DieslDom thats a really good price right there. Im paying 322 a month with 3600 upfront, no trade For a Sport/Tech. I was in a bit of a rush so its all good. But those are some solid numbers. No wonder I see so many of these cars on the road, they are basically giving them away rite now.
Wow! Its funny how you guys say there's so many around. I'm lucky if I see 2 a week in my area. It seems the people around here would rather drop 24,000 on a loaded Malibu then a Max. By the way I just bought my black S model for 27,900 before tax.

ZsMax, taht sounds like a great deal to me. I would stil try to negotiate. Your getting every available option for that model year. SIlver looks great on these cars trust me, especially when u got the panoramic roof.
