How much did you pay? *New car shopper*
Dude i thought about the dark slate. its a sick color. But i love black on black which is why i chose it. I wish i loved white/ or dark slate just as much so that you can see the panoramic sunroof from the outside. the 12 max is awesome!
Zero incentives right now and of course I'm ready to purchase. Maybe around Thanksgiving they'll start the $2000 incentive again.
I just can't pull the trigger when I know in less than a month I could save a couple grand.
I just can't pull the trigger when I know in less than a month I could save a couple grand.
actually here in philadelphia the incentives are 1000$ dollars lease rebate and 1500$ dollars finance rebate or you can take a 0.9% interest rate for 60 months
dealer cash. the incentives change to dealer cash this time of year. the incentives stay the same, I got a 2500 rebate on mine on 10-27-11. now its 2500 dealer cash.. if they keep the money, its more in there pocket. just ask for the 2500 off. I sell cars. i know this
I bought a 2011 S w/18200mi (White w/Black int) for 24091.78 + tax and tag. I also got 4 free synthetic oil changes and I bought the 8 year 120000 warrantee for a total of 27963.30 out the door. I could not tell the difference between this car and a new one. What do you think?
a little high, u can get a 11 S with about 22k miles for about 22k now.

you could have gotten a brand new maxima s 2012 with limited edition package which upgrades your features for about 27k.
Bought my 2011 SV w/ premium for $31,050. Plus has spoiler, cold package, trunk organizer, mats, wheel locks, and rock/mud guards. anyone can get this pricing by going to o.com then car buying program. Or if you have USAA, products, car buying program. Sticker was $39,400. $3000 cash back or 0% for 60months.

Not sure if serious, o.com is not a valid address.
i was quoted $32900 for a 2011 SV with premium and tech package.. is that a good deal ? This is without taking advantage of the 0% financing that is going on now... beside if there is only about $1000 different between the 2011 and 2012, do you guys think I should get the 2012 instead considering the depreciation value if I am selling the car within 3 years?
what bank did you work with ?
just drove home with my maxed out Maxima for $9,000 under MSRP of $41250 ($32,007 before ttl).
(SV with Premium and Tech packages, spoiler, mats with trunk, and splash guards.)
Brought my own finance check at 2.75%, but they got me 1.8% from my same bank.
Had to drive 1.5 hours to Crystal Lake Illinois to get that deal, but no other Chicagoland dealer could touch it. Couldn't believe the number quoted in email was gonna stick until I signed, but it did and I drove away quick before they could change their mind.
so just had to add dark tint on all five windows and WeatherTech floor liners to keep it clean.
Killer car at a killer deal!

With the current incentives ($3500 off on 2011, $2500 on 2012) how low could I possibly get a 2.5s base model for? I was thinking that $25k might be possible on a 2011, $26k on a 2012.

Stuggling to find the right used Maxima.
Seems like all the 2009s and 2010s I'm finding are asking $25k for a car with 50k miles and no records. At that rate, I'll just by a new 11 for $30k.
If I could find a clean 09/10 loaded for low $20s I'd pick it up.

Today I purchased my first Maxima...2009 SV...22K miles...$24.5k...every option...can't wait to pick it up on Saturday...I purchased it from www.skymotorcars.com....looking at cold air intakes now...anyone have any preference on intakes?
He meant overstock.com, also known as o.co.
They have a car buying program designed to be a no haggle great price. I think Costco may have similar. This allows you to spec out the car, print the certificate out, take it to the dealers shown as certified partners, and then you've cut out the negotiation aspect of the deal. Taxes and "dealer document fee" are not included.
Example of a deal I just ran for my local area:

Pricing for Your Requested Vehicle: Savings off MSRP: $6,611
You may find that between now and the end of Nov is a good time to buy, as the dealers are hungry to blast their 11s off the lot, and they want to take advantage of all the holiday incentives that come down from Nissan. That said, the 12s are not far off in price, if you find the right dealer, as the 12s qualify for the holiday incentives too (albeit reduced value by around $1k I believe).

I am a first time car shopper, and I can only afford to lease a car. I am having a hard time finding websites that dont offer all current car lease deals without having to choose every time i search a new car and new brand.
just bought 2012 SV with premium & tech package with spoiler, splash guards and all the mats for $33500. Was about to buy the 2011 for 32500 but thought the extra 1000 is worth compared to the depreciation if I were to sell the car
Interior color is way better than the 2011 ones. I am glad I waited for couple of months.

Yes, I used that on my 2012, my deal was posted a few posts up (FYI: Truecar leverage the deal service from Zag.com). I used the prices offered on there and called around to all reasonably close SoCal Nissan dealers to see if they would be willing to talk pricing. After they heard the pricing I told them I had, several told me they couldn't touch it.
Bought the car from a dealer who pushed quantity more so than the buyer experience, if that makes sense. For me, as an educated consumer who knew the car already, and just wanted to get a great price, the service was good. Take the guessing game out of it by getting pre-approved, so that you can minimize the dealer trying to haggle the financing.
Remember, they have to have the car on the lot to honor the deal. One dealer didn't have the car I wanted, but said they would dealer transfer it from a neighboring dealer at no charge to me.
Worst case, you could try to negotiate a better deal and then fall back to the pricing guaranteed through the Truecar pricing agreement. It might lead to some hard feelings, but that's life.
I used true car.com to buy my '11 SV last year and it saved me a ton. I also just used it to buy my wife a '12 Murano and it worked just as well. The prices are for real. You need to register and allow them to send the info out to the three dealers they list on the pricing page. Guaranteed you will start getting phone calls the same day, so if you go this route you'd better be serious. Highly, highly recommended.
Btw, the dealer I bought from did not have the Max I wanted but still found one and honored the deal.

I thought I'd share what my bro in-law paid for his this year. 2011 Silver SV, Sport/Tech package, the works basically, 2K miles, manufactured this year in April, bought in June, $30,995!
