How much did you pay? *New car shopper*
[/quote] I got mine for $26,1. S model 12', threw in floor & trunk mats, sunroof deflector, & chrome exhaust tips. (End of the month, labor day weekend, plus we do Nissan's payroll where I work VPP*).

A good deal depends on how much you get off the MSRP. Also what is the mileage on the car? I got mine 2 months ago for $7K+ off MSRP.
PS may web sites (NADA, Kelly Blue Book, etc.) will tell you what the dealer cost is and you go from there.
It's used with 19K on it. I'll look it up later. Thanks for the input.
I got my white 2012 S limited edition brand new with ~60 miles on it for $26k.
Huge dealer incentives and rebates, etc. to get it to that price. And I had my girlfriend with me who is ruthless when in comes to wheeling and dealing.

Looking at a 2011 Maxima SV with less then 9k on the odometer, loaded with everything plus 20in Rim's & Tire's. They want $29,900 but I can get a 12 or 13 for less with VPP but not loaded. I'm thinking $25,500 or $26,500 for an offer, what do you guy's think?

Dealer sticker around $42k. I gave ~$33.5k for mine. 12 SV Sport Tech, Sport, Cold, mats, splash guards, super black. So far I am very happy with the car, just wish I would have stuck hard for another 1 or 2K more off.

Your buy is actually better than buying new. Let the original owner pay for the depreciation. I would have done the same but could not find a recent year resale.
Yeah, I really lucked out, because the cert. pre-owned gives it a 7yr/100k mile warranty. It was a tough choice though, b/c they had a 2011 SV with dual sunroof and nav w/ 36k miles for $2k more, but i chose this newer one with less miles and the warranty vs the one with the cool stuff. Hope I don't regret it lol. I'm already starting to find out that the nav isn't as an easy/clean upgrade as it was with my altima, which I didn't anticipate....
You don't like the darker wheels? Man, and i was trying to haggle the dealer to give me the darker wheels because it's what was advertised on their website.. but I ended up giving up... so now I have plasti-dip on the way to change the color myself.
Sounds like a good deal. If I didn't get the one I got, there was a 2011 SV with the huge sunroof and all the options you had, but 42kmiles for 1k more that was $24k. If I woulda known that the nav in the S wasn't easily upgradeable, I would have probably picked that one over mine. Mine is cert pre-owned with 7yr/100k mile warranty though, so I guess that's the tradeoff =/

As it is I'm happy with my purchase, but I like the smoked lights on the 2012/2013s so much I may try and swap them.
I looked at 2009 and 2011 SV's but they were going for like $24k - $28k in the Northeast. I didn't really like the deals that I was finding. If I had a little more disposable income I would have gotten a 2012 LE.

For those looking at pricing in Virginia, I recently just stole a 2012 Maxima SV, Premium and Premium Technology packages, for $30,700. MSRP was $41,065. That final price included a $4,000 factory incentive and a $500 NMAC incentive. WOOHOO! This is my first Maxima, and I love it! It's white with tan interior, very sexy...

I had the Juke for 13 months, and put 46,000 miles on it.
I have had the maxima for almost 2 months, and have put 8,000 on it already.
It is definitely a nicer cruiser. Now I just need to work on the stereo.

Just picked up a brand new black on black 2012 SV Sport/Tech w/ monitor pkg for $31,000 before tax/TTL. Dealer also threw in paint sealant/Scotch Guard, tint, all weather mats, free maintenance and unlimited washes for 2 years. MSRP was $40,930.
2012 Maxima bought today for $29,300. Total price is $34K with the Ulimate Wrap Extended warranty since I drive a lot of kilometers to and from work. It was a previous rental with 21,087 km on it. It already has 3M, under coating and leather protection. Otherwise, it is the base model and it is black as per my profile picture.

If you've got good credit (>800) you should easily be able to to get 2.9% from the dealer. If you get an outside loan it can be lower. I would try to convince them that the car is still considered new and therefore should qualify for "new car" rates, which are between 0-1.9% (at least that's what they were a couple weeks ago).
Stealers will gladly go as low as you want with the price of the car as long as they can make up for it in the back, i.e. APR, trade, ESC's, etc.
Are you trading a car?
What about warranties? If I were you, I wouldn't.
Overall the price of the car seems ok considering what you are getting. You should also consider what they have on their lot currently. If they've still got a dozen 2012's you can prolly talk 'em down more.
