DE-K Swaper(LIS-ONG)

well my last thread seeem to be destory by e-racers, well i found a place in wisconsin for 650 shipped i could get a DEK. Now what is the difference from 2000 fed to 2001 cali? Anything that would make it worth my time to try and get a different motor. seems all 2001 are cali and i cant find a lower mile 2000, my best is 37k 2001 for 650 shipped. Any other parts i should request when buying the engine?

on a 2nd note, I'm also having someone do the work for 900 plus any extra time for modifying the dude said.
well i got a list here that has to be extra:
-splice A33 injector plugs into A32 harness
-extend A32 TPS plug to reach A33 throttle body to reach
-remove A33 IACV and fab cover plate under throttle body
-plug swirl valve vac (if calli)
-plug throttle body coolant lines
-mount EVAP on DE-K manifold and hook up vac
-swaped over the EGR, MAP, EVAP solenoids and run correct vac lines
-plug any other open VAC sources on A33 manifold
-use A32 exhaust manifolds and EGR setup w/ A33 guide tube

I order an RMP switch, what other parts should i buy? ive heard of someone creating and selling custom IACV plates?!?!?!. if i show up with all the parts needed, this guy wont be able to rip me on custom hours. one last question(i think i have about 20 !) what is using A32 exhaust manifolds and EGR setup w/ A33 guide tube?!! as in what does this detail? so using my stock exhaust headers and....ill leave it at that. Im sure it would be alot easier for me just to do the work my self and learn but i need my car running now!

so i when and visited the shop yesterday and maxy should be rdy tomorrow. But when i was there he showed me the engine and on the timing chain case the little black sensor(one of the cam or whatever) screw gotta pulled out a little bit. I wasnt there long, the guy had to get going, so i really didnt look at it. Is this going to effect anything? i sure ****ing don't want to pay labor again if this stops it from starting. maybe i could just swap the outside timing chain off my rod thru the box engine. Also maxs(maxima.org name) has plates for the IAVC and blocking off plates and even a set up to use the 4th gen TB.

Use the old cam sensor off your engine.

well the screw is striped out of the timing case. They must have got it hung up when removing/trasporting. Its pulledout and up a little bit. I got two sensors now, just wondering if the screws gotta be in perfect or not....

Retap the hole and make it fit properly.

Probably don't even need to retap, just get a 7 mm screw and let the screw form new threads. A .25" screw might work, it's just .014" larger than 6 mm.

But if you do retap, you will need a tap made for blind holes.
