NEED HELP RUNNING POWER WIRE THROUGH FIREWALL

I have an 04 maxima manual I need help on where to run the power wire for my amp from the battery. I don't really want to drill bc im not sure where a safe spot to do it would be...I've heard taking the tire off but that's kind of alot of work there has to be an easier way can someone please help me...thanks ...I've also heard running in through the steering collum is that a good/easy place to do it?

hi how are you dont run it through the steering column or through the fender do you have a clutch pedal if not there is a plate where the pedal belongs that you can drill through safely that is the best spot

The area near the clutch master cylinder is a common site for 6th gens. Just crawl under the dash and look up, there's a lot of area that you can safely drill through (I recommend using a nice step-bit to do so. It made the task very easy when I drilled through my firewall).

Others have snaked it through the wire grommet.

I havent checked ont he maxi yet but on my chevelle I actually ran it under the car along with the stock wiring cluster to the trunk, then up through the drain hole. The cable is protected from road debris by the frame. But that was 0 awg so it was too big to go under the carpet.
