I will be sponsoring the "Prozac for Nicky" fund. Everyone who pays $5 get's a smiley face sticker and a personal note from Mr. Stam himself thanking them for making his life happier, 1 pill at a time.

I wouldn't spend $2000 on a muffler, i would not spend 400 on a whole cat back system but that's just me.

No head, went straight for the penetration. It was nice, a little loose though.

MaxEffect414: Uhhh.....dude. You might want to read some of the recent posts then edit your message.

Nick Stam: No, just make you less depressed/negitive/monotone.

It was weird....as I was finishing up....I heard her scream. But she wasn't screaming my name...she was screaming....OHHH DARREN. TAKE ME SON, TAKE ME NOW. MOMMY WANTS IT NOW DARREN. I then got off her, with a confused look on my face, and asked her if she wanted me to call you for sloppy seconds. Extremely Embarrassed from the whole ordeal, she declined.

Darren, Doug, God knows his real name. All I know is back in the day, Medic referred to him as Darren.

The mom comments start when people run out of comebacks, or never really have any.

1.)NOS-05040-FI 6 cylinder NOS sportsman fogger. $670 Summitracing

2.)MTT-3019 Mickey Thompson 22x8-15 ET Drag slicks. $147 each Summit(x2 $294) 25" M&H slicks would be a better choice.

3.) Kosei K1 Racing wheel 15x7 $129 each. Tirerack (x2 $258)

4.) Custom 2.5" straight exhaust. Probably about $300ish crush bend.

5.) Exedy stage 1 clutch $225 Group deal here on the org.

My total is $1747 and I left out a replacement or booster pump.

Whats your plan of attack to do this?
Last year when I came on here and bought a 4th Gen the fastest guy was running a 100 shot of NOS and couldn't break 14 seconds so I don't think a sportsmans fogger is gonna do it.

You have been breathing that stuff too much, its done something to your brain.

There is already a 13 second auto 5th gen so running 12's should be pretty easy.

I took a 4th gen from a 15.4 to a 13.1 same day and only change was a 100 shot NX, thats 2.3 seconds.

What would you run if you could knock 2.3 seconds off of your N/A time?

That's a pretty ignorant statement that I did not expect from you. Instead of me trying to 'splain it to you I'll just let you marinate in that for awhile.

Good luck with your project.

Re: What does a $2000 Muffler look like?

Is there a model number for that muffler? It sure looks like part number 1041.

I managed to acquire a new muffler yesterday. Vibrant Performance http://www.vibrantperformance.com/ sell all sorts of performance equipment. The majority of it is for Honda's but they also sell mufflers, intake filters, strut bars etc.

The muffler I ordered was from their lower end SS line. When my Son ordered it for me, they took pity on a poor old drag racer and asked if I would accept this one instead.

Its a $2k Prototype of the model they are now making and they thought it would be better than the standard line for what I wanted to use it for.

They normally sell in the $100-$200 range. I still had to pay for it but managed to get it for a little less than $2k.

It is nice and hope to get it installed in the next week or so along with a Budget Mandrel Bent T-304 SS Y-Pipe, Test Pipe and a SS Mandrel Bent 2 1/2" B Pipe (sans resonator).

The body is but the tip is like #10515. Not sure if it actually went into production or not.

I got part number 1041. Unfortunately the noise drove my wife nuts and I slapped the stock muffler back on!
Unfortunately Vibrant doesn't offer a silencer for this model. Is there a way to make the muffler quieter? I have the Budget Y pipe on as well.

I think it has to have a round tip for the silencer to fit. I don't use mine on the road at all. It stays in the trunk and I put it on at the track, only takes about 5 mins, only 2 bolts and those 3 rubber hangars that slide off. I change my struts and rear wheels anyway so the whole operation only takes like 15 or 20 mins.

The sound is ok around town but on the highway its toooo much for an old guy like me. I don't like that much attention.

How OLD is OLD??? I could be the oldest ricer!

That's a good idea about using it for the track! I'll do that the next time I go autoX.
