No, unfortunately I don't. I thought about that when I got back for the shop. I'm going to go ahead and pay the extra money for the wideband monitoring when I do my pulls on the dyno-jet, just to get a second opinion.

There were some jumps here and there that he tried to dial back but everytime he did, it'd move to another spot and the hp curve would get a bump in it and peak power dropped by 2-3 hp. He even gave me 45 min. free cause it was frustrating him. So either he didn't know what he was doing or it's running correctly.

From what I have heard trying to adjust fuel when you have a JWT ECU will mess with the timing...maybe that is why you would see loss in some points when adding fuel. I am not sure of this or exactly how it happens but I have read that before. Maybe that is why Jim Wolf recomends not to use an SAFC along with their ROM tune.

True. Maybe it would just be better to get the ECU tuned for 290CC injectors altogether.

Ya, dyno tech said "Guess the Jim Wolf tune is as good as we're gonna get."

When i send my ecu back for tuning ill talk to them about it . If its true then ill have them set the fuel and timing stock so i can change those myself I just need the ecu at that point to just raise redline to over 8000rpm

And with having jim wolf tune the 00 injectors in the ecu they told me it can be done. but they told me the 00 injectors have nothing to do with the 350z injectors and harness plugs and they argued the 00 flow 240cc like the 95-99 max.

But i called up courtesy and tried to get plugs for the 00 max . After searching for awhile they told me they dont exist i was in disbelief so i told them the part number on a injector and the guy at courtesy cant believe it . Same exact injector as a 03 350z i believe its on other years to .
So what he does is gets a 00 max injector goes outside and the injector pluged right into the 350 z injector plug. This guy couldnt believe it (for once a dealer listens to someone) So he orders two 350 z wiring harnesses for the injectors for me i get them and they plug right in and work!!!yeah
And the weird thing is i have stock 00 max plugs and the 350z ones side by side by my commputer and they look nothing alike but they both work on each other.
The reason i say all of this is because i was going to send my ecu to jwt and have them account for the bigger injectors but i told them the story and they refused to believe it,They even talked to a JW engineer about it and he laughed and said i must be mistaken

The reason i sold the 00 vi is because it wont work with my new setup

JWT doesn't have a clue. What JWT and coutesy are missing is that the VQ35s run at a higher base fuel pressure to support the additional hp even though they are the same as what is found on the 222hp VQ30. You really should use DAVEB, guys at courtesy are clueless most of the time.

Injectors were verified LONG ago to be the same.

Now that T/S found the rev limiter, we won't have to mess with them.

I'm very happy with my JWT ecu, but I can't stand their arrogant, know-it-all attitude. I deal with them as little as possible.
