Variable Intake and Wet Kit Completed
Well, I have officially finished converting my old NOS 05124 dry kit to the Powershot wet kit. And in doing so, I also installed my polished Variable intake. All I can say is wow..... Off the bottle, the car is a totally different beast. My CAI sounds different, but I feel the car has a much better rounded off feel to it now. The pull after 5k is the greatest thing I have felt in my car in a long time. I absolutely love it. It pulls just as hard as my parent's 2k Max. Now, with the nitrous, currently a 125 shot, WOW... . All through first and half way through second I have absolutely NO TRACTION what so ever. The pull after 5k is even GREATER with the nitrous, duh lol. Anyways, I ought to be going to the dyno shortly since I found a new dyno that does $75.00 an hour or three pulls with tuning. I will be back on with more numbers shortly.
BTW, I pulled the VI butterfly cover off immediately after using the wet kit and I did NOT find any fuel puddled in the crevices of the chamber. I will be doing a more detailed investigation to see if the chamber is affecting the nitrous at any time after the dyno....

That's great! Pls dyno ASAP and share. I've been lagging on installing my VI for months. A couple questions though...
1) I believe you used to have a dry kit. How does the feel (namely power) of a dry kit compare to the wet kit?
2) How'd you mount the full throttle activation switch since you lost that bolt near the throttle body with the installation of the VI?

Erik here is a palm app you might use if you have one. The settings are pretty much inline with the ones I got. Check it out.
