need nitrous help

I have a 2002 se 6 speed and I have a NOS wet kit and I was wondering what I should do to make it safe and reliable but get the most out of it, what precautions should I take. Should I run wet or dry? What plugs should I use? What is the largest shot could I use? Thanks a lot

I would go with a wet setup with a bottle heater kit also . vq30s and vq35s have proven to be reliable under considerable strain, but unless you just really want to drag race alot, a 75 shot seems to be a good size shot for a quick car, and remaining reliable. I have ZEX step colder plugs that i've been really happy with

To run a 75 shot, just make sure you use premium - like 93 octane or whatever to lower the risk of detonation.

Oh, and the largest shot you could run is debatable. If you felt like it you could probably run a 150 shot but that would be risky and would involve upgrading fuel pump, getting 2 step colder plugs, and using race fuel. So thats not really worth it.

Just curious, but would you really have to run a higher pressure fuel pump about a 150 shot with a wet setup?

Jime tested his Walbro 190 high flow pump up to 200 shot and he said it held it with no problem. He didnt spray 200 on his car but somehow was able to reproduce the effects on the pump and it help up fine.

a 150shot is only risky if you dont tune it ive run mine with 1 step colder plugs and 93octane for a couple of months and about 10 bottles with no problems

There's not much tuning involved with a wet kit...

I would personally consider running slightly larger fuel jet, but that's about it...

And Sonic, that's what I was trying to remember. Thanks man.
