Is it worth it to get one dyno tunned for nitrous to squeeze out a few more ponnies?

How much hp do think could be gained from a nitrous map? I know you could see around 10hp n/a so I wonder what could be had on the juice???

Read about what A/F is suitable for your N2O shot, try it, find out, get back to us.

Will do, but was just wondering if anybody else has done it and what results they had?

get a wideband or dyno time and a extra bottle. spray and tune then spray and tune again and again.

there are gains to be made but since no 2 setups or driving styles are excatly the same you will have to find out what best for your car some-1 else's setup may get you in the ballpark but the final tune is up to you

A wideband is almost if not should be necessary.

So, you're just going blindly into it?

No , I am not getting a safcII until I get my best possible times on the spray first.

How are you setting things up and controlling & monitoring A/F?

How large of a shot?

Right now I am just running a zex 55 wet shot(for now at least), So I really don't think I have to monitor things until I get into bigger shots. And I am only spraying at the track, which I go to probably once or twice a month.

oh and another thing after a few test runs I checked my plugs and they look great, so I would say everything is running perfect.

well theres no way to tell what ur a/f is so ude have to ether one, bring it to a dyno, or two, get a wideband in the exhaust.

Oh - maybe someday I should do that. Just a stock ECU here - no wideband, either.......

Actually, I really should, what with the present 150-shot dual-stage NX, and one more stage in the works...... after long-tube headers, a dyno tuning session or two is planned.

when i did wideband i never got a chance to spray and try and tune it. but my goal was to tune it n/a to about 13.1ish or high 12's.

If you have the nitrous setup jetted properly, it SHOULD remain the same a/f ratio when you spray, thats the whole reason for picking the proper jets. To be honest, I dont suggest trying to squeeze a few hp from tuning a/f unless its really off. trying to lean it out a lil bit to get like few hp is probably a bit risky. If you wanna get more power out of your nitrous, get headers, and/or a cutout.
