IIRC a 4th gen guy (I think the car is white) has done a 3.5 swap, and supercharged it. I think he used the unit deigned for the 3.0. I think it fits.
Check out the Advanced performance section.

It's not that simple. The reason it worked is because he was using A32 timing equipment. If you use the stock A33B equipment, the CVTC covers get in the way. There is a kit in development but it's on hold right now for the next few months to a year.

So, as I stated earlier, there are threads on the FI forum for which you should read up on, extensively, before taking on such an endeavor.

But giving an A32 swapped example is deceptive, that's my point.

Any A32 swapped 3.5L using A32 timing equipment can use existing hardware.

A33B timing equipment = custom, right now.

TCS

So I see theres a lot of rules on what you can ask and stuff on this forum, but I'll try anyways...I did search but most of the results don't answer my question.

I just bought an 02 maxima SE 6 sp, fully loaded but it doesn't have the TCS button beside the steering wheel heater. Does this mean that I don't have TCS or that it just can't be turned off.

So I guess you expected this question was coming....how can I tell if mine has HLSD?

I read in a thread that if the firewall sticker has RS6F it has HLSD, is this true???

Help, Got Check Engine Light Today

Last saturday I cleaned my throttle body and drove around for the day and the max ran fine. On sunday I filled up at Shell with 92 octane as normal. But on the way home I noticed that the idle was high and thought nothing of it.

But today I got the dreaded SEL light

Pulled codes P0550 and P0550

I kind of know what they are P0550= Power Steering Pressure and P0507=Idle Control System, Idle High. I did look for air leakes in the intake system and found none. Can it be bad GAS or did I F*%^ something up.

Annoying squeeky/grind noise

Ok so im a newbie and i do not know much about how to work on cars but i love maximas and have one. But i do know people who can do it for me. So I have this ridiculous squeeky noise coming from my front steering and everytime i turn left usually accelerating or braking(going no faster than 20 mph) it starts to do it and its pretty loud. Any ideas?

Throttle Position Sensor

What is the resistance on a 2000 TPS(open/closed/etc)... Rpm drops to the point at which it almost stalls when coming to a stop, and is inconsistent when shifting. Ive replaced the MAF and have a service report for an IACV replacement, so I am going to try to adjust the TPS.

Help P0507 and P0550

See 5th post up.

Well I did the ECU Resetting Procedure, Accelerator Pedal Position Learing, Throttle Valve Closed Position Learing and the Idle Air Volume Learning (Throttle Position Learning)

Nothing has worked. Idle drops down during IAVL Procedure but, once restarted idle is back to around 1000RMPs. SEL is gone for now. Do I need to replace the Throttle Body???? Also can the P0550 code be causing
some of the problems. I did a search for the P0550 code and all of the treads go to the wrong subject. Anyone have a clue to how to fix this code(P0550)??? And what would cause it ???

Fog Light Bulb Size

Newbie question that I am sure has been discussed but cannot find answer through search.....

I had a similar light as that one when my right rear brake lamp went out. Recheck your wiring.

switch need to be reset...from the owners manual

Restarting the sunroof sliding switch
The sliding switch will become inoperable after
the battery terminal is disconnected, the electrical
supply interrupted and/or some abnormality
detected. Use the following re-set procedure
to return sunroof operation to normal.
1. If the sunroof lid is open, push the tilting
switch repeatedly toward tilt DOWN to fully
close the lid.
2. After the lid has closed all the way, keep
pushing the tilting switch toward tilt DOWN
for more than 1 second.

ok,my car is new to me (about 3 weeks) this being my second post i made sure i researched before i asked but my car just started the drop in power at 2500 rpm process. its more like a rev limiter , the engine just cuts off at 2500 rpm. is this a bad MAF sensor. ive had the CEL come on a couple of times but it goes off a few miles down the road everytime(not on now). if so how can i get in contact with dave b. im asking because apparently it could be the air temp sensor??? any reccomendations? and thanks to all you guys in advance. by the way this happened ONE time before about a week after i bought it and i just turned it off and on again and it was cured... this has left me puzzled...
