I paid 2x as much for the FRONT only coilovers than what most pay for all 4 on a Maxima.

If there were a market for i35/maximas like Supras, Corvettes, etc, Im sure I wouldnt have spent as much on this exhaust as I did. But unfortunately, Im not going to get a Corvette or Supra at the price I got my I35 which is perfect for everything I need. Carseat and all. Sorry Im not you
I'd imagine he tried O'Reilly, or Pep Boys, or what not.

No one here locally sells them, only the shtty one time use units.

To FastNFuriousMax.....I doubt if there's a Corvette, Supra, Skyline, Ferrari custom exhaust that will increase the value of any of the cars mentioned.....Let alone the thousand of 1st Gen RX-7's, Datsun 510's, Z31's that have LS1's, VG30's, 2JZ's stuff in thier engine bay and again depreciating thier value as well even if it's Bluebook value is $1000.....Stock/Oem form is more valuable....That being said, If someone want's to install a $1000 4" catback on a 1981 Maxima 810 Turbo so the F**k what, it's thier car and thier money! Enjoy it while you can people!

I agree anyone can spend their money where they want to.

I don't think anyone installs performance parts and expects the value of their car to go up. I only mention the value of the car to put things in perspective.

Sometimes people spend money in wasteful ways like on crack rocks. Moral of the story you ask? Don't Do Drugs.

Drove to Milwaukee, and got the correct part. The picture NmexMax showed was correct for what I needed, ran me 20.97 and a 2 hour round trip, but I got them. A part number provided to me was incorrect, so I have to go back and return those gaskets. Needless to say, the exhaust is installed, and I couldnt be happier. Guys at the shop were amazed how it fit, although the muffler was about 2 inches short of the bumper. They extended it and got it looking just right. Havent had a chance to rip it up, but it sounds really clean. No drone, but I will highway cruise it later today and see how that is. It's surprisingly quiet, and the guys at the shop were saying "it actually sounds good" since a couple Maxima guys have brought in ricers before to install fart cans. All in all, Im happy.

I don't see much drone if any coming from your set-up. With headers, that will obviously change, but from what I recall, you're not going with headers.

Why was the exhaust short? Where did they extend it. Pictures of their extension?

edit: wait wat? why would you go 3'' if you aren't installing headers? Now I am really confused...

Probably wont do headers until I upgrade brakes (6th gen up front) all around and suspension. If I can find a cheap used SAFC II, might go that route so I can do a before and after dyno comparison with headers, but we'll see!

Got the 3" exhaust because I've been wanting exhaust for quite sometime, and the group buy came around, and I had the money, so I got it. It was short because I drive an I35, and I35 bumpers are different than Maxima bumpers.

Part number for those gaskets is 20692-65J00 and NOT 20691-30P00, in case anyone tells you different.

Anyone have the part number for upgraded muffler hangers? I threw away the installation tips paper that came with the shipment. I should have probably bought some before install, but oh well.

I have my daughter this weekend so probably not until next weekend.
Have to order the hangers and cat gaskets anyway so I'm not in any real rush.

I just unpacked it all though...very pretty.

Yes, autozone has some good hangers (isolators). One trick I used to stabs luxe my system and prevent moving was to double up on the isolators in a couple places. Cmax and I have some images somewhere, in one of the exhaust threads. I'll see if I can coral them and repost them later.

I saw eBay had one or two the other day. I went with the walker ones for 5 bucks each off amazon, and wow are these things sturdy. Went out and replaced them just this morning and it really makes a difference in the way the exhaust is held up. Thoroughly pleased with these

I do like Amazon Prime. but I'm not in a hurry. I got all four hangers and the cat gaskets shipped for less than $20. saved a few bucks over Amazon but it might take a day or two longer to get it.

Can't complain with those prices. See, I have my son this weekend which is why I was in such a rush to get it installed on Tuesday, because I actually told customer I would be away from the office, etc, and had that whole day planned to install my new parts. Just waiting on Valve Body (which should be here today) so I can install new motor mounts and ES inserts, but probably wont get to it until Sunday or Monday

I like the 35460 better because they're longer and allow better clearance the old ones 10 yrs ago were identical too the NISMO(s)... and were completely solid units now they have cut outs etc....you may have to play with it till you find the proper length but the Nismo(s) are perfect and LIKE GOLD!!!! One poly hangar at the Bpipe location stiffens this **** up really nice! The weak Oems can't handle the heavier 3" catback too long.....

I've only put a couple hundred miles on the exhaust but its toned down noticeably since first installing it. I couldn't be happier, while in 2000-2700 rpm a you get slight drone but it's not unbearable or worth even complaining about, considering a performance exhaust will be louder. Just have to put on the 35460 hanger today. Ill try and get an audio clip up soon

Yeah had to let the Carbon build up, I remember when I first started up and drove was like WTF did I buy, but quieted down till people thought it was just a Muffler till put headers on there...

Cattman did a wonderful job but BIGGER IS BETTER....I just got some of the material in for that 6" Hybrid Resonator Section...still waiting on a few more pieces and it's ON! I feel a boost in throttle response with that 1 piece tubular design that Magnaflow utilizes....

This will be the next purchase on my list. It's good to here that the cattman header and exhaust combo makes a nice sound.

Just got my ES motor mount inserts installed yesterday, and all I can say is WOW. Both of my motor mounts were broken, so having these in is literally night and day. I feel so connected to the car, and while the vibration is more noticeable, it feels like it should be that way. If you have inserts, you know what I'm talking about.

Also installed the 35460, and that exhaust is not going anywhere lol. Pulling into my office parking lot used to cause a slight knock, but not anymore. Overall just thoroughly pleased with all of these upgrades. Valve body next and I'll be done for awhile
