i just ate the fact that other make and model cars can go as low as the earth but the minute you lower a max past 2" you start seeing axle grease............ Maxima's are the worst car to lower IMO

I35 here.

Turning radius is crazy wide.
Seat lumbar support is odd at best.
I keep got 2 different codes in my 5 days of ownership!

i would have to say the ride quality. whenever i hit the smallest pot hole it feels like the car is just going to fall apart. but i have brand new oem struts and springs are in pretty good condition

body roll... FWD...turning radius of a Pete...solid rear axle beam that reminds me of a dodge caravan (same set-up).. rear windows dont roll down all the way (thats not really a big issue) bose left side cut-out when playing cd's.. absolutely useless power seat autorollback switch (its non functional on manual tranny max's, it only manages to turn off the memory buttons).... annoying center console lid that flips up to a higher position (seriously who the heck drives with their arm resting that high, especially with a stick shift. i would need a second elbow for that to work out)..... Automatic climate control never stays where you left it (lack of memory function, or it just doesnt work on mine).

thats all i can think of for now.. I actually do love this car to death and the only real turn-off is FWD which is going to eventually lead to me selling it. But until then i'm very happy with it and the 6spd gearbox is a dream.

rear bumper dent

I hate that we have a dent in our rear bumper from a guy that hit the car when my wife and kids were in it, then drove away when he was supposed to be getting his insurance info!

I hate that my 4th gen, after 160,000 miles, runs and drives so well that I cannot come up with a reason to sell it and buy a new car.

So instead, I baught a new house with a nice big two car garage.
Now both my Yamaha FJR and the Max can sleep inside.

power adapter (cig lighter)

I hate that the power adapters in front and back stopped working because I had a laptop plugged into them, and even after changing fuses they still don't work....

I dislike how the Electronic Climate Control in my 99 can't remember the fan speed I had last, where I had the air going (feet and hands), and that the recirculation button was on, but it CAN remember what temperature I had it at last!!

my car is very loud inside i can hear all the road noise and air from back passenger windwon and sunroof

i hate the FWD

Nismo doesnt make many performance parts if any at all for the 5.5 gen

it needs more power but with RWD.

turning radius sucks

yea.... cruise on the 3g sucks too.... it has like 8mph of variation and i keep getting tailgated on hilly highways waiting for my car to pick up speed. it's got plenty of passing power in 5th.... it just lags on the cruise control. my mom's 2.2L a/t Camry is GLUED to whatever speed you set.... and i have 27 more hp and 35 more ft/lb... with NO t/c losses! what gives?

lol, this is true, but where the hell are we gonna find a water hose or pump in the winter when we need to fill her up? IF that exhisted at local fuel stops we will prob be charged just as much as gas is charged for it being "filtered"

My biggest complaint is the squeaks and rattles now that its 6+ years old. It doesn't help that it's lowered and I drive on DC streets, but that's my doing.

That weird wizard... Mine can. Maybe you the Emanage system is making things screwy. The thing I hate about Auto climate control sometimes is when it is decently warm at night with a little humind in the summer and the floor heater is blasting hot air because the sensor near the window happens to be a little colder.

• The eternal CEL
• Warped rotors
• The choice of about three overpriced tires in the stock 17" size (ok, an exaggeration, but still a lot fewer choices than our VW)
• More warped rotors
• Starting to use oil as it gets closer to 300k miles
• Replacing those back 3 plugs hurts my back

Is there a ground wire going to it?
My subs kept cutting out and when i hit a bump and hit the brakes it came back on..turns out the ground was loose and it was only being grounded when there was a knock or the car was forced foward by braking

I like to think of that as a feature.. if my speedometer fails, I can use the level of noise to calculate how fast I'm traveling.

I never looked at it from taht view. I'll check my speedometer at the point it starts to annoy me. I have a feeling it's at the 70+ spot.

Finally somewhere to let out my hatred...

1. Exhaust sounds like ****. I'm seriously considering going back to stock, but keeping the y-pipe

2. Dash rattles are annoying

3. FWD, torque steer and wheel hop suck

4. Seats aren't supportive

5. Exterior styling is super bland

6. Stock ride height was disgusting, even on Eibachs you wouldn't know its lowered unless I told you

7. Sunken-in rear wheels are hideous

On a positive note I have yet to encounter any major problems...knock on wood
