SYNASTR, many people make this mistake: They are given a turbo for free and then assume that everything else would be cake (or cheap). IMO the turbo is actually the last piece of the puzzle, it should be sized properly. So just because its free does not mean you can take advantage of it, unless you just want quick acceleration from 1500 to 3000rpm and then be as slow as the civic next to you after 3k rpm. I recommend you use that turbo as paper weight, and get a better sized turbo for our car. Also, dont go by what people say that RMT will require a smaller quicker spooling turbo, although there is a VERY slight difference its not enough to completely change the turbo size just because its going to be RMT setup.

thanks streetz. I figured in all honesty. if i build the system off this turbo and it is 2 small. i can always get a bigger one and retune. The charge pipe won't change. flange. oiling. etc. So even if its dying past 3500. I can still daily drive the car. You understand kinda where im coming from?

@Streetzlegend. Bro can't I do this same setup on my 6th gen???? I'm planning on starting this after seeing yours and reading up on it. Seems to be fairly easy on doing. Any suggestions would appriciate bro. I used to be on here like 4yrs ago. I pretty much know what I'm doing this isn't my first max or boosted, my dude has swapped out a ka for the Sr20 all on his own. And is now 450hp strong.

Yeah you can do it on any car really. its as simple as cutting the muffler, putting the turbo, putting a pipe from turbo to exhaust tip location or dump where u want. then a charge pipe from turbo to the front where ever u think u have most space. and if your car is too low you can get oval piping.
then you get a oil line or even a nitrous line, hook it up to a sandwhich plate on the oil filter, run it to the turbo, then a 1/2" line from turbo into the trunk or where ever you have a scavange pump, then run a line from there to the front of the car and into the valve cover, or a fitting you put on the block above oil level.
Then you get bigger injectors, get some piggy back to tune with and make sure you can adjust timing to lower it. tune it. and your good to go.then u got a bunch of small details which u can find through this thread. Line a timer for the scavange pump, etc..

Ok im all into doing this now. I had a full 2.5 inch exhaust ran with no cats, resonators, or any small bends, aside from the muffler at the end. So i got full flow to my soon to be rear turbo. But i have a question or two. Can u T off of the oil sending unit spot and run it to the turbo Since it has oil pressure there? 2nd. Would the 30 to 50 psi of oil pressure be too much for the turbo? If so how would u lower it without affecting anything. Thanks guys.

at the turbo, to control the flow to it, you can use nitrous jets, or buy a fitting that already has a built in restrictor. its basically a very small hole.
