I have a T with the FPR vac line. It should be fine. I do not have any leaks.

Like i said it might be irrelevent but worth a shot. Try to dedicate a line just for the BOV...i would think this as well as your FPR should not be T'd off together...I think i figured a way to dedicate vacum for both of those without T'ing them off to something else...

Maybe this is overkill, but i would think that its important...specially with your FPR and BOV

I have a ssq knock off and it needed a dedicated line, after that it worked fine no problems. The surging at lower psi doesn't do much it's at the higher boost where the damage comes in.

Like mentioned, it is always best to have a dedicated line, and also coming from the largest port possible. The more diameter the more sucking power (that didnt sound right lol)

I was wrong, the BOV is with tee'd with the MBC and Gauge. I am guessing that is not fine?

Lol I had one at the turbo. I fixed a bunch of things today:

- Installed Nismo FPR
- Installed Summit Racing Fuel Pressure Gauge
- Changed turbo V-Band (old was broken)
- Cleaned BOV and piping after intercooler (too lazy to clean the intercooler)
- Fixed Oil leaks at turbo and changed the drain gasket
- Remounted the oil pump so it is quieter
- Redid PCV system
- Moved boost controller to the rear

So like 2 cap full of oil came out the BOV pipe lol so that might be why it was not working. The reason I had all that oil is because of the old turbo and old jets. Bunch of oil got in the pipes but most of that is gone now

I am too tired to go out and drive it but I will in a few hours. I need to change the oil and I am set to tune

Drove some with autotune on. **** feels awesome at 5-6 psi. I need to do some more tuning. But I don't think bov is working still.

Great update!

I have yet to install a boost controller on mine, but can you explain why you "moved" it back to the rear of the car? Was it not making accurate adjustments far away from the turbo?

This is really wierd man...you and streetz having these issues with the SSQV...blehhh

When i got my kit from Maxboost, he gave me everything in a rubbermade container (a BIG one) and there musta been about 2 quarts of oil on the bottom of the container...EVERYHING was covered in oil. and the BOV had a bunch of oil in it too! I just wiped it down and mildly clean it, i didnt even really spray any carb cleaner in the BOV i just wiped it down and when i was first doing boost runs in the car, everything infront of the BOV was covered in oil haha. It just blew everything out after a few runs, i doubt the oil really does any damage to it, i think you may just have a defective part or something is up...

Oh well, get a new BOV i guess...

BTW, im jelous...I could never get that stupid autotune to work on my EU ughhh lol

How are you doing injector adjustments on the EU? I've heard if you're doing pulsewidth the auto tune will not work but if you switch to duty cycle it will work.

Autotune is working well. I just upped the BASE FP to about 42. This makes the under vac psi above 50. And with the 1:1 boost/fp increase. I shouldn't run lean in the boost range. Yesterday I was in the 12's and I dont think I stayed in boost long enough(car is quite fast) for the autotune to make corrections. I do NOT want to max out 3rd/4th just yet(still don't think BOV is full function).

The fluttering is alot less but I can't really hear a PSHHHHHHHH. So I am kinda confused. I def need to wrap my exhaust pipe all the way to the turbo to help the spool/turbo lag.

Now I just hope the clutch holds up I would have pics but I dunno where the camera is

Hwy mileage is still 27-32 mpg Depends if I am going 60-80mph.

Keeps slipping at the 3" to 2" reducer. I am gonna add a T-Bolt clamp there (yes I know I should not have any hose clamps but damn they are expensive lol) Also do you guys have pics of how your maf is held? I believe since it moves so much that is why my pipe keeps coming out.

Mine has hose clamps since there are lips at those connections, the reducer has a t bolt clamp.

No and I don't plan on it. With a good tune, this engine will push over 400hp at the wheels. The main problem is the transmission

Funny thing is with mine, my kit was setup using a landrover MAF housing, so i had a 2" to like 3.5" or 4" collector (whatever the hell it is) I never used the Land Rover Maf housing but i ended up putting a thick coupler on the maf and then the big 2-3.5" collector over that so i didnt have to buy another one..

I am suprised that your having a problem with yours since i did mine kinda ghetto...

What i ended up doing is making a bracket that holds the piping coming up from the bottom of the tranny that is bent toward the transmission bell housing where i thread a bolt thru the bracket and use one of the empty spots on the tranny...

Thats the ONLY thing i have holdint the piping in the engine bay and it works great...i figured since the tranny moves just as much as the motor that it was sufficient...

If i remember i will snap a pic of it tonight, but im sure its very similar to what you have im assuming...

That is how it looks right now. The black coupler is the one that keeps coming out but I have a Tbolt clamp on the way for that

What are you bolting the piping too tho? Did you make a bracket to the tranny like i did?

You should def have SOMETHING holding it once it goes past the tranny...

Also, boost leak may be coming from the cork gasket thing for your MAF adaptor...i had to tighten the CRAP out of mine, so much i cracked my MAF

Thank god for mighty puddy tho! haha it fixed it right up! and got rid of the leak lol!!

No I don't have the pipes held to anything yet, that's why I was trying to get ideas Yea I wasn't sure weather or not I should keep the cork gasket or not. But that wasn't the leak problem.

Yea best place i could c was using one of the extra unused threaded holes on the tranny....it looks like there is two but only one of them u can use (or should use i should say)

report back with vids and time slip!!!

It is in the back. The only way the filter can suck in water is if the filter is submerged
