Ditto with an '00. Fully loaded SE, leather, sunroof, side airbags, 17" wheels, heated seats & mirrors, Bose, 5 spd, homelink, dual power seats, and whatever else you can think of. Anyone got a copy of a window sticker from a car like that?

2000 Maxima ~100k mileage here. P0140 code diagnosed by AutoZone as the O2 sensor. So I bought the generic one and proceeded to replace. I'm guessing there is no way I could have screwed the wire splice up as the one I pulled out was a Bosch and the one I put in was a Bosch. They had identical wire colors. Followed the pamphlet to the letter. Problem is getting worse.

Car dies while sitting at a light. Needs to warm up first before putting in gear or it will putter and die. Exhaust smells really gassy. To me this all points to a bad sensor but I replaced it and still no dice.

Also if I throw another sensor at it, this time the OEM, where does it plug in? I noticed the wiring goes through the panel on the underbelly. I'm guessing that plate comes off and I'll see it under there?

My 03 Maxima is fully loaded except for the navigation system and the sticker price was a little over 30K.

As far as I know nothing, except for the availablity of the Titanium Edition, which probably added to the price. Maybe the '03's are more likely to have HLSD, my '02 doesn't. It was a early one...

I have an 03 Ti edition but it doesn't have a HLSD. And I had to drive 5 1/2 hours to buy my 6 speed when shopping for a max.

2000 maxi se

passenger headlight switches on and off after the car has been idling for 4-5 minutes. as the light switches off, the high beam indicator in the gauges turns on. when the light comes back on, the indicator turns off.

no problem whatsoever when the car is being driven, only after it has idled for a few minutes. all connections seem fine.

ideas?

Ok I need a lot of help, I ordered a lot of bulbs and my situation only keeps getting worse, ive made diagrams for better help. Very mad with the outcome so far, I should have just gone with getting an HID kit.

When looking in from above...I see a "female" harness that would take the end of a 9003 Bulb...also, coming from my lamp assembly there is a "male" plug? They plug into each other which and my lamp is an H3? lol. Could I just put a 9003 in and plug my "female" end into it?

Sorry for picture quality and stuff. I tried. Please Help me find the right products!

9003/H4's i have coming in the mail:

Ok. I have a 5.5 gen and ever since i bought it the driver seat feels very soft or worn. And the question i was wondering is if there are alternative OEM seats or AEM bucket seats in the market that has a solid feel and actually can hold you in the seat when your cornering when your making sharper turns. Thanks.

Perhaps get under the car, remove the shrouds, and take a better look.

Hmm, does this mean you couldn't care less to get on your back and see the other side of that front mount?
Regarding ELECTRONIC MOTOR MOUNTS...

Here is my vin number, if it helps... I should be back in NC tonight, so I will check for those wires using the link that you posted earlier.

Okay so after messing with my lights once again, I think with buying my new light assembly it changed the bulbs I need. The factory plug no longer goes from car to light, it goes from car to headlight plug. I think this plug changes my bulbs.

Also, on the front of the assembly, in front of the high beam it says H1, Low beam H3. I bought H3's for my fogs and I put them in my lows temporarily and they fit perfect. So do you think I can order a Xenon H3 HID kit and install should be pretty straight foward or what?

Do bulb types:H1,H3,9003,4,5,6 ...etc, All have the same intensity, just different sizes? or do the different numbers have different intensity? Im just wondering if H3's will be bright enough for my lows.

When looking at pictures of the front seats/dashes of 5th gens, I usually see the DC plug not being used while objects are still being powered that requires a DC plug. Where do you get this power, do you just use the backseat plug?

I have a couple auxiliary DC plugs hardwired into mine (radio shack 2 plug + cig lighter). That's where I power my ipod, phone, etc from. It's mounted to the side of the shift assembly on the passenger's side.

or, use the rear outlet.

Can anyone tell me if i'm going to be happy with these tail lights?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-01...spagenameZWDVW

they're aftermarket, is there any difference, or should I go ahead and get these? the stock ones are too expensive for me to get, unless someone online here has an extra pair of SE tails theyd sell to me.

these are depot lights - they should be similar to the OEM SE tails. I don't see anything wrong with them.

they emailed me and said that the lights don't come with the rubber gasket to seal them from water leaking into the trunk, and I can't find out where to get that gasket.

ABS Light Flickers During Startup

IMO, this doesn't warrant its own thread and search didn't turn anything up.

The last couple of months I've noticed my ABS light flickering during startup, but it turns off once the engine starts. Anyone had this experience?

Brake fluid might be on the border of being too low.

Thanks, I'll double check that, but I don't think that's it. Last month or so was the last time I checked it and it was near the max.

BTW, the pedal feels fine and the ABS has been working fine in these icy side streets we have around here.

I am not worried, yet, but the flickering may be a bad sign of things to come.

The ABS light does not mean brake fluid. The BRAKE light does though.

I was wondering if i can get the door to close without the hard thud when its closed hard. I remember when I first got the max it used to have a nice smooth sound. There is no play with the hinges. Also what should i use to lubricate the hinges on he doors?

2 questions, first my car has the SES light on and I brought it to the mechanic and no codes came up. He cleaned an air sensor and the light went away for about a week a but reappeared and is still on. Second is it possible to mate an RB26dett engine to a 5 speed tranny and have the engine sit parallel to the front axle?

Still used to my Mazda, one light for both. Forgot we have lights for each. Guess that is why the gauge cluster looks like a Christmas tree when I start my car.
