Headers, y-pipe and B-pipe. Stock muffler should support 300 hp or so without being a major restriction. Keeping it quiet means no cops bothering you, no ricers reving on you and no drone at freeway speeds. The header and exhaust clips stickies should have everything you are looking for.

If I put on lowering springs all around without replacing the struts, would my old struts ruin the springs by not giving enough support?

What struts/shocks are currently on the car?

You may as well change the shocks when you change the springs. Why work twice?

6 speed or auto?

Could be electrical interference, had a real problem with a Celica until I realized the whine was in the stereo and caused by the Jacobs ignition box.

auto and is definitely coming from the engine, not the radio/stereo.

either you need to flip the connector on the HID ballast, or you need to flip the two grounds around on the HID connector to the stock harness

They don't work well unless in projector housing.

It will only work if it is linking an entire thread, not a specific post.

Yea, I tired knocking the part of the URL that deals with showing the post.. and changed show to old, and it still didn't work.

The link Sooner gave me is perfect.

Thanks guys!

Okay now I have a fairly concerning problem. When I start the car after it has been sitting over night or after the engine has had time to cool smoke comes out of the exhaust just for the start up. What could be causing this?

When I start the car in the morning (usually on cold mornings) for the first few times I brake, the brakes make a horrible loud sound. (Not really metal on metal though). After braking about 2-3 times, it seems normal. What could cause this?

Are they more sensitive as well? Its like they almost lock up, but after they go around a few times, whatever on the rotors/pads is gone and they work normally. I notice it most after rain..

Mine did this is my Wrangler and Xterra as well.. not yet in my Maxima..

What pads and rotors are on the car, and when were they changed last?

I've searched and I have found too many different things. Does anyone have any suggestions as to why my car stalls when its in park? It only stalls after i've been driving. Once i stop and put it in park it idles normal for about 20 seconds then the rpms drop and it stalls. It doesnt do it in the morning when i start it to warm it up and it always starts right back up after it stalls. Its fine when im stopped at a light or something. It only happens in park after driving. The coils have been replaced and so has the oxygen sensors and catalytic converter. Those things were all replaced due to the SES being on. The SES is not on anymore. Its going back to the shop this week but i know they will tell me nothing is wrong seeing as though there is no SES on. Does anyone have an advice on this for me? id like to be prepared when i bring it in. Its been doing this since i bought it and each time ive brought it in to have something fixed they always say "it could be happening because you need coils/oxygen sensors/ catalytic converter." And now all of those things have been replaced and its still doing it...if anyone has AIM you can IM me (screen name: CbGtGrl) if its easier to talk that way...Thanks in advance!

I'm about to buy a Progress RSB and I'm looking for a FSTB compliment. Otto seems to be a good decision, but I can't find anywhere that sells them. The Southwest Autoworks website seems to be down, or non-existant...
